In our minds, the only thing better than an easy Halloween costume is one that lets you go beauty crazy. Pinterest users apparently agree: First trend-spotted by Self, this unicorn costume has been pinned almost 110,000 times as we inch closer to the 31st, and it's easy to see why. All you need is a horn (we highly recommend this light-up version because obviously), and your beauty look of choice. But let's be real, this calls for all the blush and highlighter.
The look (which we're hereby officially dubbing the "ravecorn") was first posted last year by the UK-based eyelash brand Unicorn Lashes. It pairs vamped up lashes with purple shadow, pink and purple face paint, face gems galore, and, naturally, rainbow hair.
Other takes on the costume we love? Beauty blogger Nic B transformed into a unicorn with bubblegum pink brows, pink liner, and frosty white lashes. She finished the look with matching pink ombre lips and a smattering of white freckles. As she shared on Instagram, she used Colourpop Fantasy Shadow for her brows and MAC products to color her eyes and face.
And blogger DramaticMac took it next-level by highlighting her cheekbones in loose glitter. She suggests liquid latex (we also recommend Vaseline) to keep all that sparkle in place while you get your Halloween on.
Oh, and if you prefer ghoulish over girly, don't worry. That's also a (equally epic) thing.
