Digby Diehl dies at 76; former L.A. instances e-book editor helped celebrities tell their experiences

Digby Diehl, a journalist, critic and prolific writer who helped celebrities similar to Bob Barker and Natalie Cole inform their reviews, has died at age 76.

Diehl had Alzheimer's sickness, his wife, Kay, noted. He died Sept. 26 in la.

And he worked with Teddy Getty Gaston, the remaining spouse of oil tycoon J. Paul Getty, to write down "by myself, collectively."

Diehl also helped pull together "A spy for All Seasons," the memoirs of former FBI Deputy Director Duane R. Clarridge, a key determine in the Iran-Contra affair.

Born Nov. 14, 1940, in New Jersey, Diehl graduated from Rutgers university.

Later in life, Diehl grew to be a literary correspondent for "respectable Morning america" and a e-book columnist for Playboy and AARP magazines.

Over the decades, he wrote for the la times, the long island instances, Esquire, individuals journal and Cosmopolitan.
