While Hilary Duff and her ex-husband Mike Comrie split over a year ago, they were trying to maintain a good relationship, however, that all seems to have been put to an end. The former “Lizzie McGuire” actress finally filed for a divorce and she seems to be enjoying the single life.
Duff has been open to dating other guys and even joined dating apps such as Tinder, but now prefers to meet people in-person. After hitting a rough patch with her ex-husband, the actress opened up about her past dating experience and admitted to her past crushes.
Before getting married to Comrie, Duff was lucky to work with, meet and date many hot men, but apparently her biggest crush out of all was her “A Cinderella Story” co-star Chad Michael Murray.
“I definitely had a crush on him,” said Duff to Cosmopolitan magazine. “We had a few kissing scenes in the movie and I remember feeling pretty nervous about that, but then we became friends and I wasn’t so nervous anymore.”
Another person Duff had a crush on is Ryan Gosling.
“I was probably pretty excited to meet Ryan Gosling. Doesn’t everyone still have a crush on him?” admitted Duff. “My sister and I have some pretty Southern hair going on here, that’s one thing I will say.”
However, now there is only one guy in her life that makes her happy and smile: her son, Luca.
Duff previously admitted that she used to date Joel Madden in July 2004 when she was only 16 and he was 25. The two later split on November 2006.
“I had a pretty serious relationship at a young age that I ended, and it wrecked me for a good year and a half,” said Duff to Cosmopolitan (via E! News). “I didn’t really enjoy being single.”
Duff also opened up about her virginity, saying, “I had a 26-year-old boyfriend. So everyone can make their own assumptions about what I was doing.”
Despite her past and her failed marriage with Comrie, Duff previously admitted that she is focusing on her career and hasn’t been dating anyone after getting off of Tinder. She revealed that she’s not in a hurry to find love again.
