We’ve been hearing a lot of buzz and excitement from fans about the new Priyanka Chopra starrer ABC TV series “Quantico.” The show finally premiered Sept. 27 at 10 p.m., which introduced the members of the FBI academy’s newest class and showed us the destruction when one of them, as a fledgling agent, stages the worst attack on America since Sept. 11.
We left off with the last episode of season 1 on Dec. 13, and before the series continues for part 2 of the first season, Chopra reveals some details about what fans can expect to happen.
Executive producer Josh Safran told TV Line that “there will be a significant time jump in the future segment of our storyline,” specifically with it lasting around three months. There will be a different approach to learning who died in the explosion, and viewers will still be figuring out if anything happened between Alex and Liam in the wake of what had happened in the winter finale.
Part two of the first season will start right at the beginning of the winter premiere.
“There is no buffer,” Safran added. “You will get an answer as to what exactly, if anything at all, transpired between Alex and Liam on New Year’s Eve.”
During the winter finale, Hannah and Ryan went off on a mission, while Alex ended up going off with Liam, but what happened next is still a mystery.
Fans are wondering if Alex has to be worried about Eliza Coupe’s character coming in and causing trouble between her and Ryan, but it could be possible that this is just a part of Alex’s case.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Chopra opened up about the subject, saying, “The problem actually is not even Hannah, it’s what happened with Ryan and Alex after everything they’ve been through. How do they get through? They love each other, but they can’t be together because Alex is her own destruction. She’s so dark that anything good for her she runs away from. She’s so afraid of being hurt that she hurts herself [rather] than to have someone else betray her. That’s going to be her [down] fall.”
Not only is there a lot of time for the two characters to figure out their relationship, but there are reportedly two different timelines for them to move forward in.
According Zee News, “Quantico” has not only been extended to 22 episodes, but has been dubbed in as many as 44 languages.
“Quantico” will return to ABC on March 6.
