After being high school sweethearts since 14 years old and nine long years of marriage, Robin Thicke and Paula Patton decided to call it quits on their relationship. After trying to win her back, the “Blurred Lines” singer’s ex-wife finally filed for a divorce and it looks like he’s already moved on.
While Patton moves past the singer’s cheating ways and is ready to start up a new life as they mutually remain friends, Thicke is also moving on and enjoying dating other women.
Thicke has been spotted out numerous times with a brunette name April Love Geary, who appears to have a strong resemblance to his ex-wife.
The couple has been sharing a lot of moments together, making their relationship even stronger. The two of them appear to be getting serious with each other especially after Geary admitted that she was “in love” with Thicke in an Instagram picture.
According to reports, Thicke revealed that his family helped him move on from his split from Patton, saying, “I just finally took a few months off or more. I spent a lot of time with my parents even, talking with them and getting their advice. I always kind of grew up thinking I knew what I was doing.”
Thicke added, “When you have some tough times, you call on your parents, you call on your grandfather for advice, and I just spent so much time with my son and that just made me realize what’s important.”
Ever since then, Thicke and Geary have been together and recently enjoyed a day at the beach in St. Barts over the holidays.
On New Year’s Eve, the couple was spotted relaxing with Leonardo DiCaprio on a luxury yacht during the day.
Thicke was spotted wearing an unbuttoned black t-shirt with matching shorts, while his girlfriend showed off her figure in a tiny string bikini that gave a full view of her bottom.
Geary posted an Instagram picture of herself with Thicke looking very close and captioned it, “Lucky to be in love with my best friend.”
During a previous appearance on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens: Live,” Thicke opened up about his relationship with Patton, explaining how they are now on “the best of terms” for their son. He admitted that they have been able to maintain a friendship despite their divorce.
“The good thing is when you have that long of a friendship and you have a child that you can put first,” said Thicke. “The most important thing is giving him a healthy, happy life.”
