Hulu's "The Mindy Project" will continue to delve into Mindy's issues in attempting to balance both her motherhood and career.
Mindy (Mindy Kaling) gave birth earlier in the season to Leo but struggled with Danny's (Chris Messina) continued absence in her life as he tends to his sick father.
Juggling two jobs as well as the constant demands of motherhood will prove to be too much for Mindy, according to IBT.
While Danny's hope is that Mindy will become a full-time mother, Mindy seems reluctant to give up her hard-earned career and future goals.
But will they be able to get past their difference and make their relationship work?
Danny and Mindy finally came to an impasse where he finally relented and told her that even though they were having difficulties, not to give up on her dreams, but does he really mean it?
Meanwhile, Mindy struggles with the very things most women her age who are trying to balance a career and family life do; trying to do what they love without neglecting those around them
Said the actress to Paste Magazine, "I mean, the wonderful thing about our show is our fans are so passionate, they love the show so much, and the kind of talent that we attract to the show, whether it's Stephen Colbert, Joseph-Gordon Levitt, Seth [Meyers], all these people."
Kaling shared, "I just feel like this can't be in my imagination. Like, I'm delusional, but only to a degree. People I think are responding to it, and so I never thought that it was going to stop," she continued to the magazine.
Mindy Kaling continues to make her mark in Hollywood as the star and writer of her "Mindy Project." She's grateful that her Hulu series continues to receive rave reviews from critics, but she is most grateful for her fanbase, who tune in and allow her to do the job she loves.
"The Mindy Project" returns to Hulu with all new episodes shortly.
