The CW recently released the official synopsis for "The Originals" episode 12, which suggests Klaus Mikaelson is going to fight against an unlikely enemy.
Carter Matt reported that episode 12 is titled "Dead Angels" and Klaus is going to a reach a tense standoff with an unlikely foe after a powerful weapon that could destroy the Mikaelsons falls into enemy hands.
While Klaus tries to regain the weapon, Elijah is going to try and reclaim control of the Strix. Unfortunately, his efforts lead to a violent showdown and the emergence of a potential new leader.
The witches are also going to be interested in the weapon that can destroy the Mikaelsons and a new coven is going to try to manipulate Davina into finding it.
However, the former regent will realize she is in over her head and could refuse to help the coven.
SpoilerTV also pointed out that the network has released a few promotional photos for episode 11.
The images for "Wild At Heart" hint Klaus and Hayley will have a heart-to-heart in the upcoming episode. Perhaps the latter will take pity on Hope's father because he is still in mourning for Cami's death and decides to make amends.
Carter Matt added that the CW has also released the official synopsis for episode 10 of "The Originals" season three.
In the midseason premiere "A Ghost Along The Mississippi," Klaus declares war on Aurora and Tristan because they killed Cami in episode nine.
Meanwhile, Vincent is now the regent of the New Orleans witches but he is going to be forced to use his magic against his will during episode 10.
Plus, Freya and Elijah find themselves in a showdown with the Strix after they discover Tristan has a weapon strong enough to kill off all of the Mikaelsons.
Given the fact that Vincent is going to be forced to use his magic, it is possible that Klaus is going to bully the regent to resurrect Cami.
In "The Originals" midseason finale, Klaus declared his love for the young woman and was devastated after he woke up to find her dead the next morning.
Many fans have speculated Klaus's ex-girlfriend Aurora compelled Cami to commit suicide if the hybrid ever revealed his feelings for the human.
There is a good chance that Cami will be brought back to life by the end of episode 10. Either she will return as a vampire or with some help from an archaic ritual performed by Vincent.
"The Originals" midseason premiere "A Ghost Along The Mississippi" will air on Friday, Jan. 29, at 9 p.m. on the CW.
