For the majority of people, a visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue would call for the most professional, sleek pieces you have in your closet—the ultimate ready-to-go-to-work outfit. For Cara Delevingne, it meant that, but with a definite off-duty spin. The model-actress picked a tailored black coat with sharp shoulders that hit right at the knee, reminding us a little of Kate Middleton's beloved coatdresses. But because she's Cara, not Kate, and likes to keep things cool, she skipped classic pumps and wore sneakers instead. Rihanna's sneakers. The black-and-white kicks are the sold-out creepers from Rihanna's Puma collection and feature a slight platform for extra height. Seeing the combo together, it totally works.

The sold-out shoes are a clear sign of how well Rihanna's Puma range has performed: The singer announced that she'll be showing at New York Fashion Week next month, and we can already predict the date will be a hot ticket.
Cara was visiting D.C., FYI, to talk climate change as part of a Funny or Die initiative.
The sneaker-and-coat look isn't the first time Cara's showed off her athleisure styling skills. If you're wanting to master the trend, she's one of the ladies to look to for inspiration.
