The Duggar Family of "19 Kids and Counting" have released an official statement regarding their son Josh Duggar and officially clarified that the struggling former reality star has returned home to Arkansas.
In a post on the family's official website, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar confirmed that Josh Duggar is indeed back in the family fold.
The official statement reads, "Josh has completed his residential rehabilitation program. We are so thankful for everyone who worked with Josh in this program. It was a crucial first step in recovery and healing for Josh."
The post continued that the former reality star, husband to Anna Duggar and father of four, is now working on "rebuilding trust issues" within his extended family.
"Josh has now returned to Arkansas, where he will continue professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family," the Duggar family penned.
As always, the post ended on a positive note, revealing, "We look to God for help and guidance and place all of our trust in Him. We are forever grateful for the love and prayers offered by so many and hope you will continue to pray in the days ahead."
This post came days after it was revealed that Josh Duggar had likely completed treatment and had returned home to Arkansas to be with his wife, children, and family in time for his birthday.
This comes on the heels of the debut of a new TLC series featuring some members of the Duggar clan, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On."
Anna Duggar is prominently featured in the series, which details the lives of the elder Duggar children and their lives as they navigate courtships, motherhood, and marriage.
In the spotlight alongside Jill and Jessa Duggar will be Joy-Anna Duggar and Jinger Duggar, who remained close to Jessa Duggar, the sister they shared a tight bond with prior to her marriage to Ben Seewald.
The series will allow brothers John-David, Joseph, and Josiah to take center stage as well, and give viewers a chance to get to know them outside of their extended brood.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" will debut on TLC March 15 at 9 p.m. EST.
