Singer and songwriter Pink knew she was onto something big when daughter Willow gave her new Disney tune featured on the soundtrack to "Alice Through the Looking Glass" a thumbs up!

According to People, the Grammy-winner was able to view an early screening of the Lewis Carroll film adaptation with her daughter Willow.

"I know everybody with kids says this, that their kids are their barometer of cool, but Willow tells me which songs of mine she likes and the way she does that is she just starts singing them after one listen," Pink revealed in the interview.

"So when we watched Alice, she was like, 'Can we watch it again?' " laughed the trendsetting singer.

Pink has continued to write and record since Willow's birth, but reveals she would rather spend time with her "uninhibited" daughter than out on the road.

"She is my inspiration for everything," said Pink to People.

"I think of little girls like her when I'm doing something like this because I want it to be fun. I think of that spirit Willow has, where she's totally uninhibited and wants to dance around naked, and that's how I go into the song," she remarked.

Pink not only reworked the iconic Jefferson Airplane tune "White Rabbit" for the film, she also penned an original song for the film.

"It's one of the more exciting things I've done in my life," the singer revealed in a featurette promoting the film.

Pink was thrilled to be a part of the Disney experience. She revealed that the brand is at "the top of the list" in her daughter's life, she said to Entertainment Tonight.

"I have a 4½-year-old little girl, so Disney is probably at the top of my list in my life. We've been to Disneyland. We love 'Princess and the Frog.' Princess Tiana is our hero: She wanted to be a chef and save up all her money and work hard to have a restaurant, so we're into that," said Pink of daughter Willow's Disney obsession.

The singer is happy to be a part of this particular film because she feels the message appeals to young girls and women that they should have "girl power" and feel they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.

"What's awesome about Alice is the whole theme, from the start of the movie, is: Girls can do it, too. She's the captain of her own ship, but it takes her femaleness to be that fierce, so that's another great [message] for our house," explained Pink to People.

"I try to keep Willow as empowered as possible," she concluded to the entertainment site in the interview.

"Alice Through The Looking Glass" debuts in theaters May 27.
