This Wednesday's all-new "Broad City" episode will include a Hillary Clinton appearance.
Back in December, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton tweeted a photo with "Broad City" creators Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer and producer Amy Poehler.

The tweet let us know that Clinton would make an appearance in the third season but didn't give any more information. Since December, fans have been patiently awaiting the arrival of Clinton in "Broad City."
The wait is almost over. Jacobson and Glazer announced at SXSW that Hillary Clinton will appear in this week's episode, "2016."
Last week, Glazer's character, Ilana, was fired from her job at "Deals Deals Deals" after tweeting an inappropriate video from the companies Twitter.
This week, according to The Verge, an unemployed Ilana will somehow find a new home in the Clinton campaign.
Not expecting to get Clinton to guest star, Jacobson and Glazer initially wrote the script without a part for her. Still thinking it was a long shot, they enlisted the help of all their connections, including Poehler, who used to portray Clinton on "Saturday Night Live."
To Jacobson and Glazer's surprise, Clinton agreed to appear in the episode.
Jacobson and Glazer still thought it was too good to be true. "Glazer said they were prepared to not be surprised or offended if Clinton cancelled," The Verge Reported. "Jacobson said that her initial reaction to the phone call from Clinton's campaign was 'Yeah, okay, we'll see.'"
One woman in attendance at the SXSW panel asked Jacobson and Glazer why they chose Clinton. Jacobson said, "We're not making a political stance here. It was really more that this is something Ilana's character would do. And Hillary, regardless of where we stand — and we love Hillary — Hillary is such an iconic figure right now and she has been."
Glazer spoke more to the final product stating, "We're trying to make really good TV. I wonder how you'll feel after seeing it. I think you'll agree that it's a really good episode of TV because Hillary Clinton is in it."
It is a really iconic moment for the Comedy Central series to have a current presidential candidate appear in one of their episodes. Both Jacobson and Glazer seem very excited about the episode and honored to have such an esteemed and relevant guest star.
