Maddie Ziegler already has her first post-"Dance Moms" gig lined up.
It has been confirmed that, once Maddie leaves "Dance Moms" after season six, she will become a judge on the new series "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation."
In addition to Maddie, the judging panel for the new series also includes Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo.
Deadline, who confirmed the news about Maddie's new gig, stated that the "So You Think You Can Dance" spinoff will pair dancers between the ages of 8-13 with all-stars. The series is currently casting its dancers.
It was recently rumored that Maddie would be leaving "Dance Moms" after its sixth season. However, the news was later confirmed in a trailer for the sixth season, which featured Maddie and mom Melissa Gisoni breaking down over leaving the team.
Maddie has been a part of "Dance Moms" since it premiered on Lifetime back in 2011. As the star of Abby Lee Miller's dance company, Maddie went on to become a household name. She starred in three of singer Sia's music videos--"Chandelier," "Elastic Heart" and "Big Girls Cry"--as the featured dancer.
Maddie later went on to perform at the 2015 Grammy Awards, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" alongside Sia.
At the beginning of "Dance Moms" season six, it was confirmed that Maddie was filming her first film, "The Book of Henry." Maddie will star alongside Naomi Watts and Sarah Silverman in the upcoming film.
Maddie's final season on "Dance Moms" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime. "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation" premieres Monday, May 30, on Fox.
