Dascha Polanco may played love struck jailbird character Dayanara Diaz on Netflix original series, "Orange is the New Black," but her latest role in new Lionsgate film, "The Perfect Match" has her taking a whole new approach to romance.
The 33-year-old actress recently dished on her new role and the movie during her latest appearance on day-time talk show "The Real" (airing Thursday, March 10), and she shared her thoughts on what having a perfect match means to her.
"Well you know Terrence J is the player," Polanco teased referring to her cast member, who plays the lead role in the new movie hitting theaters on March, 11.
"No, but it's about finding that specific someone in a different stage of your life and there's three different couples. They're all friends and he's single and he hasn't found that perfect match. At the same time, do we really have a perfect match? I don't know. I think that we just embrace insecurities. We work through it together, we collaborate. It's more about loving each other with our differences and finding that, that connection."
Although the single mom didn't get into whether or not she's found a perfect match of her own (fans will have to tune into her "The Real" appearance to find that out), the mother of two did dish on the never ending love she has for her two beautiful children, Aryam and Dasany.
"Well my son is really into Justin Bieber right now. He loves Justin Bieber. He has something to say about his video making, which videos he likes and how he could have done it differently. So you know where he's going. And my daughter's into social media... into the Milly Rock," Polanco said, while showing off her own Milly Rocking skills.
