After opting out of season 22 of "Dancing with the Stars," Julianne Hough has plenty of time on her hands to plan her wedding day to professional hockey player Brooks Laich.
In an interview with People Magazine, Hough remarked of her plans for her big day, "I want to look like me."
"That's my main thing," she shared to the publication.
The professional dancer and actress explained that she likes to be makeup-free when she is away from the cameras, and that is the way Laich, who plays for the Washington Capitals, knows and loves her best.
"He loves when I don't wear makeup. I feel really lucky because he is one of those guys who think less is more. I never wear makeup when it's just us," she told People.
As for her hair, which she recently cut into a chic shag, Hough explained, "'I don't know if my hair will be up or down, but I'll keep it as natural as possible--with a flair!"
It seems that her beauty is radiating even more now that Hough is content in the romance department.
After several years of dating ups and downs (including a long-term relationship with Ryan Seacrest), Hough has finally found her peace with Laich, whom she said: "grounds her."
"I feel my most beautiful anytime I'm on a date with my fiance or am spending time with the people I love. Nothing is better than when Brooks says I look beautiful," Hough blushed of her love for her man.
Back in September, Hough admitted that they haven't even started thinking about wedding plans, opting to just bask in their engagement.
"We have forever," she gushed to People.
That was prior to her stint as a judge on season 21 of "Dancing with the Stars" and her then-upcoming star turn in "Grease Live."
With all that behind her, a wedding is likely in the near future, but Hough still remains coy about the big details.
The dance pro told People, "We're just kind of enjoying it right now. Once we kind of figure out when and where and all that, then I'll start diving deep with that."
Season 22 of "Dancing with the Stars" premieres on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
