"Fuller House" star Candace Cameron Bure is under fire for the Netflix reboot of her former family-friendly series "Full House" by viewers who are calling the show "too racy" for kids.

"The light swearing and continual sexual innuendos in 'Fuller House' were too much for my 8 and 6 year old daughters who are so obsessed with Full House," one fan wrote on the show's official Twitter feed. "I'm hoping season 2 is more family friendly."

There are also comments posted that Cameron Bure's conservative Christian background directly conflicts with the behavior being portrayed on the series.

According to Fox411, the show will likely continue be under fire until the matter of making it more family-friendly is addressed.

Creator Jeff Franklin opened up about the revival series to Entertainment Tonight during the TCA Winter Tour.

Franklin revealed that the "Full House" reboot was going to have a bit more adult humor than the original beloved sitcom.

"It's still a show designed to entertain kids, and at the same time we entertain adults, which is always the challenge to find that balancing act," Franklin told ET. "But I think [these first 13-episode run] is definitely weighted a little bit more to the adults because we're getting to know our three girls that are now beautiful women."

Many fans of the 1980s hit were likely unaware that the reboot was going to take a different direction and allowed their young children to watch with them.

Cameron Bure is being singled out because of her conservative Christian beliefs.

"It's not [difficult] for me. It's just who I am and I'm just being myself and we all have different viewpoints and different opinions in life. I think that's what makes the world go round," Bure said to E! News earlier in 2015.

"So I appreciate all those good conversations," the actress remarked.

"Fuller House" season one is available to view now on Netflix.

Season two of the hit series will begin production sometime in 2016.
