HBO recently released a new trailer for "Game of Thrones" season six that hinted Sansa Stark is going to become the queen in the North and the red priestess Melisandre will use her magic to bring Jon Snow back to life.
Deadline reported that HBO released the full trailer for "Game of Thrones" season six on YouTube and there is one scene in the preview that hinted Sansa is going to take her brother's place as ruler of the North.
Sansa is wearing a thick fur coat and she appeared to be crying. It is possible that she has found safety with the men of the Night's Watch and just learned that her brother Jon Snow was brutally killed.
If Sansa was told that Jon was murdered in a mutiny and if she thinks her other siblings are dead, perhaps that will inspire her to claim her brother Robb's crown and name herself queen in the North.
In Martin's original novels, it was hinted that there are many Northern families who are still loyal to the Starks. There is a good chance Sansa will gather her allies and lead an army to overthrown the Bolton usurpers in season six.
Aside from Sansa potentially becoming Queen, the new "Game of Thrones" trailer hinted that Melisandre is going to bring Jon back to life.
Watchers On The Wall noted that there is one scene where Melisandre and Davos are standing guard by Jon's body.
The red priestess admitted to her former enemy that she's upset because her visions of the North winning a great battle did not come to pass and Stannis Baratheon was killed.
There is also a moment in the trailer where Davos apologizes to Melisandre before attacking two men of the Night's Watch and it is possible that they will steal Jon's body so the red priestess can bring him back to life.
The "Game of Thrones" season six premiere will air on Sunday, April 24, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
