As "Girls" season five progresses, Hannah (Lena Dunham) continues to make choices that make others around her ill-at-ease. How will she handle her blossoming relationship with straqight-laced Fran and her lingering friendship with free-spirit Elijah?
Fran (Jake Lacy) and Hannah's relationship continues to grow, but they are stalled in their attempts at cohabitating, at least at Fran's place, by his strange roommate Jacob.
During the episode, Fran and Hannah are awoken by what they thought was a "home invasion" but found instead, Jacob trying to make a map of his body.
"Fran, he's crazy," Hannah whispered.
During a confrontation with the couple, Jacob threw a chair which didn't touch Hannah but she screamed because "it could have hit her."
After realizing that they couldn't stay at his place, Fran made the move to staying at Hannah's apartment.
What he didn't realize was that her roommate and ex-boyfriend Elijah (Andrew Rannells) was still living with her.
Fran finds their threesome uncomfortable when he sees the two greet each other by making out.
Hannah remarked to Fran of her relationship with Elijah, "We have a very specific relationship, and we have to be able to express ourselves. We worked really hard to get here."
During a visit with Caroline(Gabby Hoffman) and Laird (Jon Glaser), Adam (Adam Driver) revealed his feelings for Jessa (Jemima Kirke).
"You ever have feelings for someone but the situation is complex?" he asked.
Later, while Jessa and Adam were at a support group, they spoke about their kiss one week earlier at Marnie's wedding.
Jessa told Adam that she didn't think their relationship could go any farther because of her friendship with Hannah. "You know as well as I do that even if we could be together, even if Hannah didn't exist, that I would destroy you, and you would destroy me," said Jessa to Adam.
