In "Grimm" season five, episode 12, Nick Burkhardt's trip to Germany instantly becomes a success when his friend Monroe helps him retrieve ancient artifacts of great importance.
Carter Matt reported that "Into The Schwartzwald" is going to revolve around Nick and Monroe finally finding the ancient artifacts they've been searching for inside of an old church in Germany.
Back in Portland, Captain Renard is going to join forces with Hank and Wu to hunt down a deadly assassin that is wreaking havoc on their city. Unfortunately, their investigation becomes complicated when they find out that Eve is also hunting down the same person.
To further add to the drama, someone from Rosalee's past is going to track her down and confront her in episode 12.
SpoilerTV added that the official promotional trailer for "Into The Schwartzwald" also hinted that Nick and Monroe are finally going to solve the mystery about the keys.
There is one scene that revealed even though Nick and Monroe managed to get their hands on the mysterious artifacts, they are going to be forced to flee the church and hide in the woods.
It is possible that Monroe is going to have to woge and use his Wesen powers to save Nick from whoever wants the key to remain hidden inside of the church.
Another scene in the trailer for "Grimm" season five, episode 12 hinted that there is a chance Adalind could get her Hexenbiest powers back.
There's a brief glimpse of a man screaming because the fingers on his left hand are being bent in an impossible direction and Adalind appeared to be terrified.
If her powers return during "Into The Schwartzwald," then perhaps she used telekinesis to break the man's fingers.
"Grimm" season five is currently airing on Friday nights at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
