This is not the first time the actor was rumored to date someone. In October 2015, Kang was rumored to date actress Jung Yoo Mi.
Kang's agency YG Entertainment, fed up with the nonsense dating rumors, confronted the problem. "This is absolutely not true. We checked with Kang Dong Won, and he said he has never met the actress. He now even feels sorry for her as the rumors keep on circulating. The singer who supposedly introduced the two were also startled as he does not even know the two people," YG Entertainment said according to Allkpop. Allkpop reported that YG Entertainment plans to take legal actions to find the source of rumors.
Kang Dong Won is currently having the second heyday of his career with the success of films "A Violent Prosecutor" and "The Priests," both of which premiered earlier this year.
