Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch have tied the knot! The union has been making headlines, and a lot of people want to know who Hall is.
If you're curious to know, we've gathered up a few facts about the new Mrs. Murdoch. Here they are.
1. She was married to Mick Jagger.
Hall and Jagger got married in Bali, Indonesia in 1990, but the union was later deemed void. They did, however, stay together until 1999.
2. She's model Georgia May Jagger's mom.
Hall and Jagger share four children: Elizabeth Scarlett, James Leroy, Georgia May, and Gabriel Luke.
3. She used to be a top model.
She started her modeling career in Paris, alongside singer Grace Jones and actress Jessica Lange. It was also during her time as a model that she met Jagger. Hall's most recent modelling gig was for V magazine's 100th issue, in which she was photographed alongside two of today's top models, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.
4. There are two rock songs written about her.
Before getting together with Jagger, Hall was dating Bryan Ferry, and there are rumors saying the former model left Ferry for Jagger. The relationships she had with the two inspired songs.
The 1978 Rollings Stones song "Miss You" is believed to have been written by Jagger for Hall. And the 1988 Ferry song "Kiss and Tell" is said to be the singer's answer to Hall's divulging of their relationship details on her autobiography "Tall Tales."
In her book, Hall said it was difficult to keep the relationship with Ferry despite her being happy because she "always had to be so ladylike."
5. She's a movie and theater actress.
While takign a break from modelling, Hall pursued a career in acting. She has appeared in several projects, including Tim Burton's 1989 film "Batman," where she played the role of Alicia Hunt. She also appeared in the play "High Society" in London's West End in 2005.
