The new TLC series "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" will continue to explore the lives of Jill and Jessa Duggar, as well as their husbands, when the show debuts in March. But will fans find out secrets of Duggar sibs Joy-Anna, Jinger, Jana and Joseph as well?
The success of the TLC limited-run series in December of 2015 led the network to sign the beleaguered Duggar clan to a new contract for a series on the network.
Aside from the main couples, the new series will include multiple appearances siblings Jana, Jinger, Joy-Anna, John David, Josiah and Joseph Duggar, along with sister-in-law Anna.
Despite the controversy surrounding the family in 2015, where it was revealed that Josh Duggar molested four of his sisters when he was a teen, as well as his admission he cheated on wife Anna, the network realized fans wanted new shows featuring the clan.
A decision was made where the series would feature more on the married children and the older siblings, rather than the extended family, parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, and Josh Duggar.
More than three million viewers tuned into TLC to watch "Jill and Jessa: Counting On."
According to The Hollywood Gossip, the Duggar family's return to television will showcase Jana Duggar in particular, in a larger role than ever before.
During Jana Duggar's appearance on "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," fans witnessed a thoughtful young woman who was eloquent and refreshing, and finally the star of the show.
Also, in the spotlight will be Joy-Anna Duggar and Jinger Duggar, who remained close to Jessa Duggar, the sister they shared a tight bond with prior to her marriage to Ben Seewald.
The series will allow brothers John-David, Joseph and Josiah to take center stage as well, and allow viewers a chance to get to know them outside of their extended brood.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" will debut on TLC March 15 at 9 p.m. EST.
