"KPOP STAR 5" contestant Ahn Ye Eun finally showed her full potential!
On the latest episode of the SBS survival audition series "KPOP STAR" season 5, Ahn performed a self-made song "Mr. Mystery" and blew the judges' minds.
Ahn has been one of the low-ranking performers throughout the entire "KPOP STAR" season 5. Her musical style was more on the indie side that did not appeal to everybody. The judges credited her originality but criticized her inability to fascinate the entire audience.
On the latest episode, though, Ahn's performance of "Mr. Mystery" scored her an overwhelming win and impressed the three judges, Park Jin Young (JYP), Yang Hyun Suk and Yoo Hee Yeol. "At first I wasn't sure, but the more I watched her, the more I saw her true worth," Park said after Ahn's performance.
In addition to Ahn, Park Min Ji, Joo Mi Yeon, Lee Si Eun and Mazinga S performed on stage.
The next episode of "KPOP STAR 5," which will share the final list of top 8 contestants, airs on Mar. 6, 2016, at 6 PM KST on SBS.
