Singer and songwriter Tamar Braxton called Donald Trump "racist" after a video shown on "The Real" showed a black woman being pushed and dragged out of a rally for the presidential hopeful.
Braxton, star of We TV's "Tamar & Vince," weighed in on the video which showed a woman being repeatedly pushed by a white man wearing the uniform of what appears to be a veteran's organization, according to EnStarz.
The woman in the video told WLKY that people at the rally yelled racial slurs at her as she was being escorted out of the event.
Trump has not commented on the video. He was not involved in the removal of the woman during the rally.
The reality star remarked, "My nerves are completely on probation," Braxton said. "Because you know, I don't... this tape didn't play Trump actually telling the girl, [yells] 'Get out!' Like, first and foremost, I feel like if you are a racist of any kind, you should not be able to run for the presidency."
Braxton revealed that within her own family, she has all races and everyone is treated equally, so she felt she had a good stand from which to state her opinion.
The reality star added that her sister Trina has children that are part Mexican, referring to the presidential hopeful's insistence on closing the borders to Mexico.
"We are a melting pot...There's White people in my family, Mexican kids running around the house with Trina and them..." she said referring to her sister, Trina Braxton's children whose father, Gabe Solis is Hispanic.
"And it's like, we don't talk about you know, 'You're Black. You're White. You're Mexican. You're other.' Like, we don't do that. Everybody is all one and the same!"
Braxton continued to voice her displeasure over Trump's behavior as a candidate, further commenting that how he is behaving now will set a standard for his presidency if he is voted into the White House.
"I'm just disgusted that somebody who's running for president.... You're not even in the house yet," Braxton said. "Let's just say, God forbid, you become the leader of the free world and you are already setting the standard of how you gonna run. You are a racist! You are already showing everybody who you are."
The singer's co-star Adrienne Bailon sided with her fellow panelist, remarking, "That's not what this country is supposed to stand for at all...With liberty and justice for ALL."
Braxton's opinion on Trump and his presidential aspirations will be broadcast on March 7 on "The Real."
