We’ve been watching the contestants on “The Bachelor” fight for Ben Higgins’ heart, and we’re slowly getting closer to who he will pick as his future wife.
There are only two girls remaining, and we can’t help but wonder who the next Bachelorette will be. It will most likely be someone who made it pretty far during this current season, and it looks like the producers are finally revealing the possible contenders to find love on the show.
A source told Us Weekly that producers of the ABC show will pick one of the top four women who were on Higgins’ season to be crowned the next “Bachelorette.”
Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher are still in the running to be Higgins’ future wife, but Caila Quinn and Amanda Stanton have a chance at being the next “Bachelorette.” However, a lot of people have a strong feeling that Quinn will be next to find her future husband.
While ABC has yet to officially announce who will be their next leading lady, a source tells E! News that the 24-year-old software sales rep is the producers’ top pick to be the “Bachelorette.”
E! News caught up with Quinn during the show’s “Women Tell All” special and she admitted that she was open to becoming the next “Bachelorette.”
“Because I fell in love before I could see myself falling in love again, so yes, I would consider it,” said Quinn. “But I definitely need to take a deep breath for myself and kind of take some me time.”
Quinn admitted that she is ready to find her husband, saying, “I’m ready for love. I’m ready for the one and for my best friend and I’m still looking for that.”
Quinn was sent home in last week’s episode, just after telling Higgins that she loved him and spending the night in the Fantasy Suite with him. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to say it back to her.
"Driving home in the car, I felt an immense, consuming sense of loss because I really did fall hard for Ben," explained Quinn of her emotional departure. "And it was just a really cold water shock that it's over. I had to deal with it, so it took a lot out of me."
Fans and former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” stars have been voicing their opinion on who they think will be the next “Bachelorette.”
Kaitlyn Bristowe voiced that she’s hoping Amanda will become the next bachelorette.
“I’ve only watched one epi of the bachelor, and I stand by my first thought. Amanda for bachelorette,” tweeted Bristowe.
“I don’t know why I am so Team Amanda,” said Bristowe to E! News previously. “She seems so sweet and I’m rooting for her for some reason. I really like her.”
Former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman predicted that if Higgins doesn’t end up with Lauren B., then “I think she should be Bachelorette because we need a blonde. We’ve all had the brunettes, I’m partial to brunettes, but I think we need a cute little blonde!”
