American actress Jamie Alexander already appeared as Lady Sif in the first two "Thor" films, but she is still uncertain whether she will be called back to reprise her character in the third installment "Thor: Ragnarok."
"I am not 100 percent sure at this moment," she told Comic Book Movie. "I know that they're changing things with the script and that sort of thing, so I am literally in limbo. I know probably less than you do about it. I would love to do it, but whether or not it's going to work on my short hiatus from 'Blindspot' I'm not sure. There could be a lot of factors when it comes to that decision."
Alexander added that it would be "absolutely gravy" if she gets to play Lady Sif again on the big screen. In the first two "Thor" movies, she was not able to display her character's sense of humor, but she managed to do just that for the series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
When asked what she loves best about her Asgardian character, Alexander answered, "I love her loyalty and her strength, and just her wanting to protect everyone around her. There are some similarities between her and Jane from 'Blindspot.'"
"I'm a huge comic book fan, and who doesn't dream of being a superhero when they're a kid?" she continued. "The fact that I got to put on a costume and play this amazing superhero was just a dream come true. It was like the little kid inside me was very, very excited."
Meanwhile, Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård, who plays Dr. Erik Selvig for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has already confirmed that he will not be a part of the third "Thor" film.
"I have a five-film deal with them, and they still have one option" he said during an interview with Den of Geek. "'Thor 3' is not on my slate, but maybe the next 'Avengers.'"
"Thor: Ragnarok" has been scheduled for release on Nov. 3, 2017.
