Could one "Vanderpump Rules" star be headed to jail?
Earlier this season, Jax Taylor was arrested during the cast's trip to Hawaii for stealing a pair of sunglasses worth at least $300. Jax spent a short time in jail, but his friends ended up bailing him out before heading back to Los Angeles. However, Jax's legal issues may not be over yet.
In a sneak peek of the new episode of "Vanderpump Rules," Jax sits down with boss Lisa Vanderpump during his shift at SUR to ask for time off, so that he can head back to Hawaii. Jax says he must physically be in Hawaii, so that he can find out the verdict of his shoplifting case.
Since Jax could possibly face jail time, he is nervous about what his verdict for stealing the sunglasses will be.
"This could be just a slap on the wrist, and it could go away, or this could escalate even more. I could go to jail, have more fines slapped on top of me. It's really all up in the air," Jax explained.
Lisa goes on to say that she is glad Jax has to go back to Hawaii to hear his verdict, because he will now hopefully realize how ridiculous this situation is.
Lisa also hopes that Jax has learned his lesson, but she believes he is more concerned with avoiding jail time than truly understanding what he has done wrong.
"The only thing that Jax does better than get into trouble is get out of it. He'll probably sweet talk the judge, have him in the palm of his hand, be back on the beach in Hawaii with a cocktail and that'll be the end of it," Lisa said.
