New spoilers for "Containment" episode two hinted that Lex Carnahan is going to ask Jake Riley to help him track down a woman that was in close contact with infected patients in the hopes of stopping the virus from spreading.
Spoilers Daily reported that the CW released the official synopsis for the second episode, which is titled "I To Die, You To Live."
As Lex attempts to maintain control outside of the cordon, he is going to find out that a young woman who had close contact with the infected patients is currently unaccounted for.
Due to the fact that he has limited resources available to track down the young woman, he is going to ask a resentful Jake to help him figure out where she went.
Elsewhere, Katie attempts to keep her composure while keeping a watchful eye on her students while Teresa is shocked when she learns her friends could've been exposed to the virus.
SpoilerTV pointed out that the CW also released the official promotional trailer for "I To Die, You To Live" and it hinted that despite Lex's best efforts to find the young woman, she might have accidentally spread the virus.
There is one scene that showed Jake stumbling upon a dying young woman in her apartment. Another scene in the preview featured a group of doctors can be seen performing an autopsy on one of the patients.
It is entirely possible that the young woman Jake and Lex are looking for managed to spread the virus before she too succumbed to its deadly effects.
Perhaps the doctors will perform an autopsy on her body in the hopes of trying to find a cure for the virus, only to discover that the disease is actually worse than they thought.
"Containment" is currently airing on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
