Deepika Padukone is one of the most loved actresses in the Bollywood industry by fans, directors and actors so it is no surprise that the “Tamasha” star has a full schedule of filming.
After releasing “Piku,” “Tamasha,” and “Bajirao Mastani,” Padukone is getting ready to work on other projects, and it appears that even Hollywood directors want to work with her.
After a lot of speculation of Padukone being a part of Vin Diesel’s “xXx” franchise, it has been confirmed that the actress will be seen in the popular Hollywood movies and share screen space with Diesel.
We’ve been seeing a few sneak peeks into the movie, and now it looks like some new details are being teased about the action film.
It’s clear to see that “xXx 3” is a high action-packed movie with some intense stunts and Padukone’s co-star, Nina Dobrev, recently shared a photo of herself after she performed her own stunt.
Dobrev shared some pictures of her injury on Instagram after performing her dangerous stunts and they’re pretty gruesome.
“Film an action movie they said. It’ll be fine they said. Movies may not be real but this is. The things we do for our craft! But hey, the way I see it, it’s a small price to pay to get to do what you love! I’ve always wanted to be in an Action Movie... be careful what you wish for! #NoPainNoGain #ItAintEasyBeingBadass #XXXtheMovie @vindiesel,” Dobrev captioned on collage of photos.
In the first post, it shows Dobrev’s big bruises, cuts and blood from her stunt and another photo of a larger blood bruise on her upper leg.
Sources close to the film are also confirming the Bollywood actress’ role in the movie, saying that she will be playing the leading lady.
Padukone previously spoke out about the movie, admitting just how excited she is for the project.
Padukone is proud to have bagged a role in “XXX:The Return of Xander Cage,” but she is also nervous about going into a new territory. She will star in the third installment of the film with Diesel and Samuel L Jackson. She is proud that her ethnicity helped her get the role in the movie, which will give her the opportunity to flaunt her Indian background.
“I am very excited. But I want to confess that I am very nervous. Most importantly I feel proud to be a part of a film where I get to flaunt my ethnicity,” said Padukone according to Indian Express. “The reason they are roping me is because of my background. I really hope that i do well in the movie and people go and watch it.”
