Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson is reflecting on a difficult time in her family's life.
Alana rose to fame on TLC's "Toddlers and Tiaras," where her pageant life was revealed for viewers to see.
Due to her and her mom, Mama June Shannon's, memorable moments and one-liners from the show, their family received their own reality series, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."
Despite the show's success, it was cancelled in 2014, after it was reported that June was dating Mark McDaniel. Mark had, allegedly, molested June's daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell.
Now, in People's clip of Alana's interview with "Oprah: Where Are They Now?," the former reality star explained what happened the day the show was cancelled.
"I woke up one morning, and I was like, 'Where's the crew?' And my mom was like, 'We stopped filming the show,'" Alana said.
She added, "I was kind of happy, but at the same time I was sad. So I was kind of sa-happy?"
Since "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" was cancelled, June and her longtime boyfriend, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson," joined season 4 of WE tv's "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars," in hopes of repairing their strained relationship.
The couple seemed to make major progress on the show, but, unfortunately, they split up shortly after filming wrapped.
"Yes me & sugar bear did not work out but I have 2 say me & the girls r the most happiest I've been n years," June confirmed on Twitter in February.
