EXO's Chanyeol confirmed to star in the MBC K-drama series "Gaia." "Gaia" is Chanyeol's first K-drama and his first time working with a major TV network, according to Sedaily on Apr. 25, 2016. Actor Kang Ha Neul and Girls' Generation's Yuri are in the talks to join what would be the star-studded cast.
K-drama "Gaia" will tell a story of a K-pop star and an ordinary girl who get drifted to an island after a plane crash. The drama will premiere after "Monster" ends on MBC.
In addition to Chanyeol, another EXO member had a drama debut. EXO Kai's K-drama "Choco Bank" premiered on DramaFever on Apr. 16. On "Choco Bank," recent college graduates Kim Eun Haeng (Kai) and Ha Choco (Park Eun Bin) put their heads together to create a startup. "Choco Bank" is an online drama consisted of six ten-minute episodes. Check out a short scene from "Choco Bank," episode 2, below.
