There had been a few deaths in the previous season, including the heartbreaking one of Shayla (Frankie Shaw), but it looks like the toll will rise. It's still a guessing game who the casualties would be, though, and considering series creator Sam Esmail's expertise in pulling twists and surprises, it might be long before fans find out.

Despite already being known for his big twists, Esmail said he does not want fans to expect them.
"I'm honestly not tricking anyone," the producer told Variety. "I don't want to trick anyone. I want people to feel the reveals and have the reveals impact them in a way."
Details about the upcoming season have not been divulged, although Esmail said that it will focus on Elliot's (Rami Malek) battles with the law enforcement and with himself.
"The first season's critical acclaim and the response gave us a lot of confidence, but it's almost like the pressure kinds of cancels it out," Esmail added. "I'm back to square one, which is exactly where I think we should be in terms of approaching the story for the second season."
"Mr. Robot" season 2 will premiere on July 13 on USA.
