"Mr. Robot" season 2 will bring new challenges for Elliot (Rami Malek) after he successfully hacked Evil Corp's system.
A clip titled "More Work to be Done" teases the upcoming installment of the hit USA Network show and previews a new battle for Elliot. The video contains some of the highlights of the previous season but also hints at new problems for the vigilante hacker. It gives a summary of how Elliot started fsociety and what had happened after he accomplished his plan.
"You have other battles to fight," Christian Slater as Mr. Robot/Edward Alderson tells Elliot in the clip.
The words "The Revolution Continues" also appear on the screen.
The teaser appears to be confirming what series creator Sam Esmail said would be the major arcs for the next season. Esmail said that now that the hack has been done, Elliot would have to face government forces. And apart from his battle with outside forces, Elliot will also face challenges within himself.

"Now that the hack has happened, I actually think it's not just Evil Corp that will be, if you want to call them antagonists, of fsosciety," Esmail told The Hollywood Reporter. "Now we're dealing with a much larger issue, and I think the law enforcement, in some way, will make a presence in season two, which I think is going to be an interesting new group of characters to explore."
As for the issues Elliot would be dealing with after realizing that Mr. Robot is just in his head, Esmail teased in an interview with Esquire: "That's the one thing that's been kind of hard going into this second season, because if we want to be honest to where Elliot was at the end of the first season, it's not a light and sunny place. Now that we are aware of his [mental health] issues, Elliot has to address them."
"Mr. Robot" season 2 will premiere on July 13, 10 p.m. on USA.
