"Twilight" star Nikki Reed is opening up about her marriage to "The Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder, saying that they're both wrapped up with so many different activities all at the same time.
Reed said that despite their hectic schedules, she and her husband are very happy because they're pursuing things that they love, such as environmental protection and animal welfare.
"Our household is very busy all the time," she told E! Online. "No boring conversations at dinner."
When the actress was asked if she and Somerhalder are planning on having kids, she simply teased, "I'm sure that's in the cards."
Somerhalder is really hoping that their future child will grow up to love the same causes that they feel passionate about and become a dedicated environmentalist and animal protector.
"One would hope that anyone that has this passion...would instill in their own children or of the like very similar ideology," he said.
Meanwhile, Mario Lopez of Extra actually asked Reed earlier about her plans to have babies with Somerhalder.
The actress replied, "I love kids. It's gonna happen."
Somerhalder feels the same way. He earlier told Entertainment Tonight that they are "absolutely" working on having a baby already.
He even said that he "can't wait" to start a family with Reed.
"Well, you know, those are the coolest little things in the world," the actor gushed. "Standby."
For now, the two are focusing all their love and attention onto their "furry babies" consisting of four dogs, three cats and two horses. Somerhalder said that he is one lucky guy because he is married to Reed, who is not only drop-dead gorgeous, but also shares the same interests and ideals as he does.
"Every single day. Look who I get to wake up with," he said. "We're under kitties and dogs, and it's just pure bliss."
