It’s no secret that Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor share great on-screen chemistry together after seeing their steamy performance in Imtiaz Ali’s film, "Tamasha" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani."
After a surprising breakup from Katrina Kaif, Kapoor has been flying solo, but has apparently been meeting up with Padukone, sparking rumors that they are getting back together. However, the two of them have apparently been meeting up to talk about new movie plans.
Padukone and Kapoor have been spotted together several times. First Padukone went to Kapoor’s house in Mumbai on her way to Sri Lanka for a friends wedding. Then they met up in L.A., where she was shooting for her Hollywood film, “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.”
Now, according to My Republica, Kapoor and Padukone were spotted meeting up again on the sets her upcoming Hollywood movie in L.A. and they apparently spend some quality time together.
All these meet-ups were apparently to discuss plans for their new upcoming movie with Karan Johar.
According to Spotboye (via FilmiBeat), the movie revolves around a couple that goes on a road trip and how it changes with perspective. Johar is impressed with the story and apparently approached Padukone and Kapoor to be the leading actors in the film.
“Deepika isn’t getting back to Ranbir nor is she trying to make any patch up happen between him and Katrina. There might be a possibility that the two might come together for a film and that was being discussed between them,” said a source to Bollywood Life. “There is no possibility of Deepika intervening or playing a mediator for Ranbir and Katrina.”
The source added, “Ranveer Singh has nothing to worry. In fact Deepika and Ranveer are as good as being engaged. Both their families are extremely fond of each other and there is no scope for an ex-lover issue cropping up to damage their equation. Ranveer is very much aware of Deepika meeting Ranbir and he’s extremely cool about it.”
