New spoilers for "The Originals" season three finale suggested that there is a good chance Rebekah Mikaelson will return and help her siblings destroy their enemies.
TVLine reported that it is possible Rebekah is going to return and help her brothers take down their enemies.
However, "The Originals" co-executive producer Michael Narducci warned that there is a chance one of the Mikaelson siblings is going to die in the finale.
"There is a tragic circumstance set to befall the Mikaelsons," he said. "It is the type of event that would make one want to be with their family, regardless of the cost."
Narducci added that the Mikaelson family and their allies are also going to take a stand against the ancestors.
"The fight turns Vincent into the character we've always wanted him to be," he explained. "If I told you the roster of characters, which includes both active cast members and guest stars, that are involved in helping to take down the ancestors, I don't think you would believe me."
Narduci also pointed out to Collider that the season three finale is also going to explore whether or not the Mikaelsons can atone for all the sins they have committed over the centuries.
"The Mikaelsons will have to figure out if their family can survive," he warned. "Is there any atonement that can make up for the sins they have committed over the course of history? How will the Mikaelsons deal with the return of their greatest enemies and the sins they've committed? They will also have to deal with the fallout of everything they have done to honor their vow of 'always and forever' too."
"The Originals" season three is currently airing on Friday nights at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
