It is time for Dina Lohan to face her traumatic past.
Throughout the first season of VH1's "Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn," Dina has tried to tell her side of the story about the abuse she experience from ex-husband, Michael Lohan. However, Michael has claimed that Dina is exaggerating her stories and not revealing what truly went down in their marriage.
Regardless of who and who is not telling the truth, Dr. Jenn Mann has an exercise planned, where Dina and Michael will smash objects from their past, in hopes of moving on.
Upon entering the room she will smash, Dina is faced with her and Michael's mugshots, horrible headlines about their relationship and even a photo of her with a black eye, which was a result of Michael hitting her.
Despite it being set up to help her heal, Dina may not be ready to confront these memories again.
"I don't want to remember it," Dina cried to Dr. Jenn.
Dr. Jenn ends up calling Dina out, because Dina uses these memories against Michael all the time, so Dr. Jenn is confused as to why Dina does not want to face them now.
Dr. Jenn clearly knows that Dina has not moved on from this pain just yet.
"You fight with him, you argue with him, because you haven't resolved this. It is time to get it out once and for all," Dr. Jenn explained to Dina. "He's hurt you. He hit you."
Dina follows Dr. Jenn's advice and ends up smashing a few objects in the room. When she is done, she immediately breaks down over facing these memories again.
"It was like a movie, and I was the actor in it," Dina said. "[I was] out of myself, just hearing the noise and the abuse in front of me, looking at it. It took me back to a very, very dark place."
As Dina becomes more emotional and leaves the exercise, Michael, out of nowhere, begins smashing objects in the room, because he can no longer wait. This startles the entire group, because it was not his time to go just yet.
Dina, however, is not shocked by this behavior.
"He's a f**king psycho," Dina said about Michael.
The new episode of "Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn," titled "Smash House," airs Wednesday, May 4, at 8 p.m. EST on VH1.
