After Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth officially split and broke off their engagement, the “Wrecking Ball” singer allegedly reached out to her ex-fiancĂ© telling him that she was sorry for pushing him away, but unfortunately that didn’t bring them back together.
Cyrus had hopes of reconciling with Hemsworth, and now after two years of calling off their engagement, the former love birds have reconnected.
Cyrus and Hemsworth have been back together for a few months now and it looks like everything is going fine between the two despite the breakup rumors.
Now that Cyrus and Hemsworth are back together, the “Wrecking Ball” singer is trying everything possible to make her fiancĂ© happy, which is why she skipped out on this year’s Met Gala.
Cyrus wants to show Hemsworth that being with him was more important than attending the extravagant event.
“It was important for her to let him know that he and their relationship is her top priority,” said a source to Hollywood Life. “She wouldn’t want to be anywhere else than with him right now.”
The couple is taking things slow, but reports are stating that they are already starting to plan their wedding. A variety of rumors regarding the couple's wedding have been making rounds, and now we're hearing that they want two ceremonies.
Hemsworth and Cyrus are reportedly planning a wedding in the U.S. and in Australia. According to Hollywood Life, the actor is hoping that the planning will be stress free and feels “he would have more control over the situation” if they had a wedding in Australia.
Not only will Hemsworth be closer to home, but he is hoping that he will have “more control from paparazzi getting the shot,” said a source to the gossip site.
Cyrus is reportedly all for having a wedding in Australia, but she also wants to have something in the U.S.
“She also wants something to happen in the states. Whether it be a party or another wedding because it will be a struggle to get so many friends and family to Australia when they decide to pull the trigger on the wedding,” said the source. “They are both very excited for it to happen but they want it to be perfect.”
Although no wedding details have been confirmed, the couple is reportedly taking their time to tie the knot. A source told People magazine that Hemsworth and Cyrus are “moving surprisingly slowly.”
“Miley seems to have matured a lot. In the past, she tended to rush things. She acts much more calm and happy now,” said the source.
