A new scandal has rocked Potomac.
Shortly after the first season of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Potomac" wrapped, some shocking information was revealed about Katie Rost's ex-fiancé, Andrew Martin.
According to documents obtained by Radar Online, Andrew "was the subject in a major drug bust which involved boxes full of marijuana and a SWAT invasion on his home."
The legal issue began back in 2011, when the Montgomery County Police Drug Interdiction Unit "removed two parcels" from a Maryland FedEx, which were discovered by a drug dog.
The police eventually found bags of marijuana in the parcels, that were "consistent with that of possession with intent to distribute."
They were able to find out that Andrew was behind this, because the address on the parcels was linked back to a home owned by him.
The SWAT team was later brought in to raid Andrew's home, where they found marijuana and glass pipes, along with more drugs.
Andrew could not be arrested, at the time, since he was not on the property during the raid, but he was later indicted for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute. He was found guilty and given three years of probation.
Since season 2 of "RHOP" is currently filming, it is likely that Andrew's past could influence Katie's storyline.
Their split is also likely to take center stage for season 2, since Katie revealed on the season 1 reunion that she had broken off their engagement.
"I love Andrew and our relationship isn't perfect. Sometimes you have to step back in a relationship. I don't want to speed into marriage and have it not work out once again," Katie wrote in a recent Bravo blog about her breakup.
Season 2 of "The Real Housewives of Potomac" is expected to premiere later this year on Bravo.
