New spoilers for "Reign" season three hinted that Mary Stuart and Catherine de Medici are going to team up to defeat a dangerous vigilante group known as the Red Knights.
Carter Matt reported that the CW released the official synopsis for "Strange Bedfellows."
In episode 13, Mary is forced to turn to Robert Dudley for help after her attempts to protect her cousin Elizabeth Tudor unknowingly put Gideon Blackburn's life in danger.
As Mary struggles to save Gideon, Bash becomes determined to track down the men who are making threats against Queen Catherine.
SpoilerTV added the CW also released the extended promotional trailer for "Strange Bedfellows," which hinted Catherine is going to ask Mary for help.
There is one scene in the trailer where she admits she is being threatened by a vigilante group known as the Red Knights and wants Mary to team up with her in order to defeat them.
There is a good chance Mary will agree to help her former mother-in-law and fellow queen defeat the mysterious Red Knights.
The preview for episode 13 also suggested that Gideon is going to tell Mary about the Vatican's assassination plot to remove Elizabeth from power and name her the heir to the English throne.
Aside from Mary and Catherine teaming up to fight the Red Knights in episode 13, the CW also released the official synopsis for "To The Death."
Carter Matt noted the synopsis for episode 14 hinted Mary is going to come to terms with the fact that she needs to return to Scotland as soon as possible and she is going to ask Bash to help her raise an army so she can save her throne.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth is going to ask Lola for help in finding out more information about her mother, Queen Anne Boleyn. Unfortunately, her plan backfires when Lola is caught snooping.
"Reign" is currently airing on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
