New spoilers for "The Flash" season two suggested that Wally West is going to become a speedster and he will help his friend Barry Allen fight the Earth-2 metahuman Black Siren.
Comic Book reported that the CW released the official synopsis for episode 22, which is titled "Invincible."
Zoom is going to unleash an army of metahumans on Earth-1 Central City and Barry Allen is shaken when he realizes that their leader is Laurel Lance's doppelganger, who calls herself Black Siren instead of the Black Canary.
Meanwhile, Wally West is going to take to the streets to help the Flash fight Zoom's metahuman army and Barry's father worries about his son taking on the evil speedster.
Comic Book added that the trailer for episode 20 hinted that Earth-2 Dr. Harrison Wells is going to re-create the particle accelerator explosion so Barry can regain his speed.
It is possible that Wally will also gain speedster abilities during the particle accelerator explosion and that is why he wants to help Barry fight Zoom's army.
Given the fact that Laurel recently died on "Arrow," there is a good chance Barry will try to convince Black Siren to betray Zoom and become a hero just like her doppelganger.
Entertainment Weekly pointed out that Barry is not the only member of Team Flash who is going to be disturbed when they meet Black Siren.
Carlos Valdes admitted that Cisco is going to be upset when he meets Black Siren and it is possible his character will be the one who convinces her to become a hero.
"Cisco reacts in a pretty unexpected way," he explained. "There's a little bit of morbid shock because the characters know Laurel Lance is dead and that death has some effect on them. So when he sees Black Siren, it is a huge shock to his senses. To know that someone relatively close to you is dead and to see a vision of them alive would be jarring for anyone. There's a bit of a disturbance there in terms of seeing her like that."
"The Flash" season two is currently airing on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
