New spoilers for "The Vampire Diaries" hinted that Bonnie Bennet is going to be compelled to try and kill her friend Caroline Forbes.
Previously on "The Vampire Diaries," Damon Salvatore found a way to cure Bonnie by exchanging the vampire hunter Rayna Cruz's life for hers.
Unfortunately, now Bonnie has to take up Rayna's mantle and she will not be able to rest until every single vampire on Earth is killed.
Comic Book Movie reported that Damon is going to have to face the consequences of turning Bonnie into a vampire hunter and will be forced to ask his friends for help in "Requiem For A Dream."
Meanwhile, a new threat puts Caroline's life in danger and Stefan is going to make a rash decision that will force them to face the fallout from their relationship.
Elsewhere, Enzo is going to be devastated knowing Bonnie is now a ruthless vampire hunter and Matt will take matters into his own hands during an attempt to save one of his closest friends.
It is possible that Bonnie is going to mark Caroline in the same way Rayna marked Stefan, which could facilitate a heart-to-heart discussion between the blonde vampire and her ex-boyfriend.
It is possible Stefan will come up with a plan to help Caroline hide from Bonnie and the two will wind up getting back together at the end of episode 21.
SpoilerTV added that the extended promotional trailer for "Requiem For A Dream" hinted that Damon is going to sacrifice himself in order to buy Caroline and Stefan time to hide from Bonnie.
One scene in the preview hinted Damon is going to beg Bonnie for forgiveness right before she tries to kill him.
Judging by the look on her face, it is clear she is conflicted over whether or not she should kill Damon.
Perhaps Damon's apology will give her the strength to fight the magical compulsion to kill vampires and she will use her own powers to break the curse.
"The Vampire Diaries" season seven is currently airing on Friday nights at 8 p.m. on the CW.
