In Weird Things That Happen When You Bring a Cardboard Jimmy Fallon Cutout Home: Blake Lively stopped by The Tonight Show last night wearing that dress we're obsessed with for a chat with Jimmy Fallon. During her appearance, it came to light that a cardboard cutout he'd given Lively to take home the other week was causing a few issues in the Lively-Reynolds household.
"Was it fun traveling around with him?" Fallon asked Lively. "Did your life change?"
Well, a few things definitely did, as Lively demonstrated in a home video and series of pictures she brought. Her daughter, James, began calling the cutout "Dada," which—even though the vocabulary range of a 1-year-old isn't the widest—is pretty adorable. She even gave the cutout a little kiss. "It's a little confusing," Lively joked. "... I think I should do a paternity test."
"This is the wrong show," Fallon replied.
And then, as evidenced by a series of (let's hope staged) photos, husband Ryan Reynolds apparently got a little starved for male friendship and decided to pour out a scotch (or a few) with Fallon's cardboard clone. Things started off fine—as fine as drinking with a cardboard cutout can be, anyway—before the last picture showed Reynolds shirtless and face down on the table, scotch bottle knocked over and shirt looped over cardboard-Jimmy's arm.
"It messed up my home life a little bit," Lively said.
Lively, who's pregnant with her second child, also shared some amazing baby babble pronunciations that more than a few moms can probably relate to: Apparently James is fond of throwing "sh-" in front of a few words. "Jump" becomes "shump" and "sit" becomes, well...take a guess.
But there's more, adds Lively: "I would take that [saying 'sh-t' instead of 'sit'] any day, over, like, when we take her to the park and we take off her socks—for some reason she doesn't have a 'sh' for socks, she has a 'c' for socks, so she's like 'Yay c-cks!'... It's like I have Amy Schumer as a daughter, minus the immense talent." Bless.
