Your average woman owns a good number of dresses, but that doesn’t mean she’s reaching for them all year-round. There’s the feminine floral dress that gets saved for spring weddings, the little white dress that only comes out to play between Memorial and Labor Day, and the vampy body-con number that’s on reserve for cold winter nights when dressing up is the only way to cheer up. All we can say is, we’re game. Not only are megawatt metallic dresses among the prettiest and most expensive in a woman’s wardrobe, they’re also incredibly fun to wear. Instantly head-turning, joyful, fabulous, full of life, they call to mind style icons like Carrie Bradshaw, Diana Ross, and Cher without requiring a certain body type or budget to pull off. It’s about time someone gave them top billing in our closets. Holiday parties are fun and all, but what a waste to not experience these resplendent frocks in full sunlight, right?
