Game of Thrones is famous for being an insanely intense show, thanks to the twist-filled plots, gratuitous violence, impassioned speeches from characters in (frequent) times of peril, and a casual trio of fire-breathing dragons. And, minus the occasional wry humor, everyone in the cast keeps a pretty straight face. I mean, has Daenerys ever had a belly laugh in her life? Highly doubtful. Has Tyrion Lannister ever delivered a command with anything but the perfect regal diction? Preposterous.
So it's nice to see a chance of pace in this excellent Game of Thrones blooper reel, which was unveiled at Comic Con and is currently doing its two-minute part to tide us over until season seven after that season six finale had us on edge.
Note to scriptwriters: If you want to get on Peter Dinklage's good side, omit the word "benevolent" from all material.
