It seems like every other week Kylie Jenner is restocking her Lip Kits or introducing a new color. Which is why we decided to start this blog. We'll be updating it whenever big Lip Kit news is breaking the Internet. Stay tuned!
October 9, 2016: Odds are you're getting in the autumn spirit right about now. We've already watched Hocus Pocus at least once, ordered quite a few PSLs, and tried on a pumpkin-spiced highlighter. And now Kylie is feeding our fall-loving souls with four new Lip Kits. We had hints about two of them, but the other two are total surprises.
Check out the full array:
First in the surprise category is Trick (above left and below). It's a dark, metallic teal that will definitely pop against any skin tone—and it'll take your costume next-level for the Halloween parties coming up.
Here's what it looks like on Kylie in case you're having trouble envisioning exactly what the shade looks like:
Next in the lineup comes Moon. It's a romantic pinkish-gray with a hint of dusty purple.
Here it is compared to Dolce and Maliboo. It's darker and a little cooler in tone than the other shades, which makes it a solid addition to her pink-based neutral color family.
So those are the surprises—now for the ones she teased last week!
That "cinnamon-esque brown color" we caught on Instagram turns out to be a shade called Pumpkin. Just as we suspected, it's a rich burnt orange that's perfect for fall (and complements the tones from Kylie's KyShadow palette).

And last in the new release is Kylie's favorite of the four shades: Spice, which we also got the intel on last week. In her Snapchat, she said she saved the best for last. Agree?
We like that she's releasing such wildly different shades this time around—fingers crossed she has plenty in stock!
September 30, 2016: People give Kylie Jenner crap about a lot of things, the cost of her products being one of them. And we won’t lie—we’ve spent more than we’d like to admit trying to catch every launch. But the latest news in lip kit land is something we can really get behind. Yesterday Kylie revealed a new light pink shade called Smile, in partnership with Smile Train, a charity that provides corrective surgery for children with cleft lips and palates. Why is this important? Well, #WorldSmileDay is on October 7, and in an effort to bring awareness to the cause, Jenner is donating 100% of net proceeds directly to Smile Train. According to her Instagram, she will be presenting a check to the organization personally. And just as anything Kylie does garners a lot of attention (and sometimes negativity), we're really proud that, at the end of the day, she’s bringing awareness to a good cause. Go, girl.
Smile is launching on Monday, October 3 at 2 P.M. EST.
Jenner also revealed two new shades (and teased that even more are coming!) for October. One of them is named Spice, and is a slightly lighter version than Kourt K. We don't know the name of the second, but it's a cinnamon-esque brown color that resembles Ginger. Definitely perfect for fall.
You can grab these on October 12, but in the meantime, international shoppers should take advantage of the $5 flat-rate shipping deal going on for the next 48 hours.
September 22, 2016: There's nothing like the excitement of a new Kylie Cosmetics launch, amiright? And since it's officially the first day of fall, we have a feeling you're going to especially love Jenner's new Kyliner shades, Bronze and Chameleon. Not to be confused with Dark Bronze (her limited edition Birthday Collection eyeliner) Bronze is a warmer, caramel brown color that's screaming to be worn in all your fall eye makeup looks. Chameleon, an eggplant, is perfect if you're into cooler-toned looks. Both are equally gorgeous for the season. Check them out, below:
Like other Kyliners, these come with a gel eyeliner pot, a matching eye pencil, and an eyeliner brush. Snag them tomorrow at 4 P.M. EST.
September 13, 2016: Know that annoying feeling when you buy something online for a good price—then you hit the shopping cart and sky-high shipping jacks the cost way up? If you’re reading this blog, then we’re sure you do. It’s been a common problem for fans of Kylie Cosmetics.
Well, the makeup mogul has heard your cries and pleas—and she's offering free shipping (!) during her next restock. But, there's a catch. It's only available for 24 hours. The good news is that it sounds like she's working on a long-term fix though. Hallelujah, because our bank accounts have really taken a beating.
Speaking of the next restock...it's this Thursday at 1 P.M. ET. Didn't score Leo from the Birthday Collection? Good news. It'll be back then, along with other fan favorites.
September 10, 2016: In news that will simultaneously gross you out and intrigue you, one Lip Kit fan has discovered that the Kylie Lip Kit shade named Love Bite is, in fact, the exact color of a hickey. (It's unclear who these broken blood vessels belong to, but that's not the neck of Ashley Sardella, the girl who tweeted the pic, her mom has been quick to point out.)
The tweet has been RT'd almost 7,000 times and garnered almost 19,000 likes, so...we'll just leave that here. But seriously, that color is spot-on.
August 31, 2016: YOU GUYS! Kylie Jenner has answered our prayers. We were just saying how we wish we could have gotten anything at all from Kylie's limited-edition, sold-out Birthday Collection—but now we can. Theoretically. If it doesn't all sell out in a minute again. She's restocking the bundle one last time today at 6 P.M. ET, along with her bronze Kyshadow palette. But in case you don't want to drop $200 on the whole set, she's releasing the cream shadows and mini mattes as single options. We're trying for a rose gold—you?
August 25, 2016: After Kylie Jenner dropped her new black and brown Kyliners earlier this week (both colors are still available on kyliecosmetics.com, by the way!), she decided to surprise us with yet another new launch: three new lip kit shades. Dirty Peach, a warm coral-nude, Brown Sugar, "the perfect nude for darker skin tones," says Jenner, and Love Bite, a purple mauve. They're all launching Friday, August 26 at 3 P.M. EST. Oh, and did we mention they're amazing on all skin tones? See what they look like on, here.
August 16, 2016: We love Kylie Cosmetics, but if sky blue lipstick or gold lip gloss just doesn't speak to you, we've got good news: Kylie has officially announced that her newest product is coming, and it's one you'll use every single day.
Yup, it's true. A black Kyliner is in the works, and it looks good. See how intensely pigmented it is, here on BFF Jordyn Woods?
If black Kyliner is anything like the dark bronze one from her Birthday Collection, here's what you can expect: a black pencil, a black gel, and an angled eyeliner brush.

August 10, 2016: Last chance to get your #BirthdayEdition on! The final restock is happening today at 6 P.M. ET, and it's your last chance to nab the entire collection forever (or at least until Kylie's next birthday). So if you didn't get your Kyliner or Mini Mattes the first two times, set your alarms for 5:59 and pray to the Lip Kit gods you get through!
August 8, 2016: Ready, set, set your phone alarms. If you weren't one of the lucky ones to nab Kylie Jenner's birthday makeup collection within the one minute they sold out both times, you've got a third chance today before the products are gone forever on the 10th. The drop time? Today (Monday) at 5 P.M. ET (2 P.M. PT). Rumor has it this won't be the last time they'll be up for grabs this week, but we'll have to wait and see after tonight.
Oh, and if you're still waiting to get your hands (eyes?) on a Kyshadow palette, a little birdie tells us they'll be restocked soon after the 10th.

August 1, 2016, 6:15 P.M.: If you logged in not 30 seconds after Kylie Jenner's massive birthday collection went live, you were probably SOL. Of our two beauty editors who tried to buy pieces from the launch—one who logged on right at 6 P.M. ET (Julie), the other at 6:00:30 P.M. because the password page wasn't correctly refreshing (Lindsay)—only the first was able to secure a Copper shadow, Leo and Lord mattes, and a Poppin Lip Gloss. All much to the humor of the rest of the staff watching us yell at our computers as we waited the seven minutes for the order to actually go through. The good news is there's still one shade left as we type this: Poppin, her real-gold-infused gloss. Though we're sure it won't be around for much longer.
But fear not, Kylie has promised that she'll be restocking over the next 10 days as the countdown to her 19th birthday approaches. As always, we'll spill the details once we know more. Or maybe not...I really want that Copper shadow. JK! I'm not that much of an ice queen.

July 28, 2016: Didn't get a Kyshadow when it sold out in one minute? Well, you're in luck, because a restock is coming this Friday (tomorrow) at 3 P.M. ET. And apparently Kylie still has more summer surprises to share—like the addition of three more palettes and three more matte colors. Sneak peek below:
In a snap shared a few weeks ago, Jenner gave us the behind-the-scenes look at some of the colors she's made but never released. Could there be a bright pink or a lavender Lip Kit in our future? I guess we'll find out soon!
July 25, 2016: Do you hear that sound? It's every Kylie Jenner fan having a mini panic attack right at this moment. After months of speculation, Kylie announced on her app this morning that Kyshadow—her new eyeshadow palette—is finally dropping. And apparently she's been secretly wearing it for the past six months, can you believe it? We have all the details about it, including photos, here. According to Kylie's Snapchat, it's launching tomorrow at 6 P.M. ET (3 P.M. PT). And it's $42. Will you be buying it?
July 20, 2016: Apparently it took only eight (yes, eight) minutes for Kristen and Maliboo to sell out today, according to an Instagram post from Kylie Cosmetics. The good news? They'll be back in stock Friday at 2:30 P.M.—which is when Ginger will be on sale too.
July 16, 2016: Kylie's been hinting at her new summer matte shades for a few days now, and when her scheduled announcement time (3 P.M. yesterday) finally hit, she teased us by saying we didn't seem excited enough. Girl. Really? So we ended up spent our Friday night refreshing Snapchat, waiting for the big reveal. But don't worry—it was worth it.

Kristen and Maliboo will be launching on Wednesday, July 20, at 6 P.M. ET (3 P.M. PT), so set your reminders. Ginger will be dropping on Friday, July 22. There's no time announced for it yet, though you know we'll be all up on it once it's confirmed.

July 14, 2016: Have you missed us? Ever since Kylie Cosmetics announced it would be stocking products at all times, we've had little to report. Until today: We finally have news! Tomorrow at 2 P.M. ET, new Exposed, Posie, Candy, and KoKo Gloss shades are launching. Aren't they pretty?
Additional news: If you're into liners only, you're in luck, because Posie, Exposed, and KoKo singles are also coming. 22 and Mary Jo Lip Kits and single liners and Candy liner will also be restocked. So now everyone can get their Kylie on again.
July 8, 2016: Not everyone wants to look like a Smurf princess or teenage goth. We hear you. Kylie Jenner's most recent Lip Kit shades take some guts and giving no f-cks to wear. (Although, our editors did havefun testing them. More on that in those two links above.)
The good news for us and our not-quite-as-rebellious lips is that Kylie gets us all too, which is why she set out to make her latest shades "very wearable."
A girl of her word, it looks like she's delivering on that promise. Last night on Snapchat, she revealed three new gloss shades: perfect complements to her liquid lipsticks Exposed, Posie, and Candy. She even gave a drop date! They're landing next Friday, July 15. We'll let you know once a time's been confirmed.

Last night on her account, Kylie Jenner revealed that she's looking at store locations for her makeup brand, Kylie Cosmetics. You know what that means, right? (1) This crazy iPhone-reminder-setting rigamarole might finally be coming to an end—well, if you're one of the lucky few to live in L.A., where she's currently store shopping, anyway. (2) This has to mean the rest of her rumored makeup products (eyeshadows, contour kits, etc.) are on their way soon.
Here's hoping the stores come equipped with the vanities she has in her glam room. We wouldn't mind stealing the benefits of her selfie station.
June 23, 2016: To all you bold, badass ladies out there planning to buy Skylie and Freedom (Kylie's limited-edition Fourth of July shades), we have a release date for you: tomorrow, June 24, at 6 P.M. June 20, 2016: They're here! The new shades Kylie has been teasing us about have finally been revealed—and they're insane. World, meet Skylie and Freedom, out this Friday. Inspired by the color of her car, Skylie is a sky blue. And Freedom is an intense matte navy. Considering her release of the metallic navy KyMajesty, it's safe to say Kylie is having a blue moment.
But wait—there's more news! There will be a restock TODAY at 2 P.M. ET for all shades—including her limited-edition colors Dead of Knight and KyMajesty. If you weren't able to snatch them the first time around, this will be your last chance for a while.
June 17, 2016: 🚨 Alert! Alert! New Lip Kit updates are in.🚨 (Really, at the rate we've been going, we should invest in some kind of Bat signal with Kylie's Lip Kit logo on it.)
Thursday night on Snapchat, Kylie Jenner announced she's been working on more surprises for her fans. She's expanding her lipstick/gloss empire from 17 shades to 19. You got it. Two new shades are on their way. You can watch The Big Reveal in the series of Snapchat videos below.
But if that's too much work or you just don't want your colleagues knowing you're reading Kylie Lip Kit news instead of working (hey, no judgments), here's what we know so far: (1) After much teasing, Jenner revealed the new colors are landing next Friday, so they'll ship out before the Fourth of July. (2) She's not giving us a definitive peek yet, but (obvi) we'll have a chance to see them before the launch next week. (3) Based on the black-and-white photo she teased, one shade looks dark and one looks light. Could they be red and blue? Or maybe red and white to mix with her blue-tinted KyMajesty? Ugh, the suspense.

Following her reveal of KyMajesty (a blue-black metallic lipstick, scroll on down to May 24 for more on it), Jenner just announced she has another black shade on the way—this time a true inky matte. And it's dropping before you'll even get a chance to swathe your lips in KyMajesty.

Via the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram, she wrote: "When I asked what Lip Kit you would love to see next for Kylie Cosmetics, the majority of you surprisingly said BLACK! So before I release KyMajesty...my black Lip Kit is coming this Friday!"
We asked, Kylie delivered. Now set that reminder. We'll let you know exactly what time as soon as we know more.
And PS: While you dream up all the places you're going to wear goth-glam lips this summer (the park! funerals! the office...fine, maybe not), here are a few tricks that make pulling the shade off much easier.

June 3, 2016: Another restock is coming! Kylie Cosmetics posted an Instagram with all the details—and all matte Lip Kits will be coming back at 3 P.M. on Monday, June 6. While the brand didn't specify whether that's Eastern or Pacific time, we have a feeling it's the latter. But we'll obviously let you know when we know for sure!
May 31, 2016: Oh, hey, welcome back from Memorial Day weekend. While you were busy barbecuing and hanging in the sun, Kylie Jenner was busy planning a surprise Lip Kit drop for today. (OK, fine, she was pool-siding it up too.) It's all going down at 7 P.M. ET (4 P.M. PT). Adjust your schedules accordingly.
May 26, 2016: Another huge restock is happening TODAY. We've been waiting for an official time for days, and it's finally come. At 6 P.M. ET, all of Kylie's Lip Kits, glosses, and metals will be available at kyliecosmetics.com. Cards at the ready, friends.
May 24, 2016: Kylie Jenner promised new colors, and boy, did she deliver. Today on both Snapchat and Instagram, Kylie revealed the next color that's about to take over your Instagram feed. And let's just say, your inner 14-year-old Hot Topic-loving self is going to be very on board. It is...
Majesty, a black metallic with blue undertones.
It's some kind of fierce.
But really, all jokes about turning into one of Marc Jacobs' goth girls aside, we've been into dark, unexpected colors lately. Just make sure you stock up on smudge-proof concealer (and read up on this trick about using it to make dark lipstick stay) and pray to the Lip Kit gods that this shade comes with a matching liner.
There's still no drop date for Majesty, but per usual, we'll be sure to update this post once we know more.
May 19, 2016: When Kylie announces she's having her biggest restock in HISTORY.....
According to her app, every single product will be back—that means no more waiting for Mary Jo K or 22, wooo! And it's the first time in the history of Kylie Cosmetics she'll be bringing back all shades at once. And it's all happening at 6 P.M. ET (3 P.M. PT) TODAY. Get. Excited.
May 18, 2016, 10:40 P.M.: Well, this day just keeps getting better. A few hours ago on Snapchat, Kylie was doing her Kylie thing (taking selfies), and then she did the other thing she's now come to be known for: being cryptic. She took this photo, below, of her lips with two question marks over them. What could it mean?! The obvious is that this is her next lip color, but part of us wants to believe this is her way of asking people what she should have for dinner. Or maybe I only think that because I'm writing this instead of eating the steak nachos I just had delivered to my apartment. Either/or.
But enough hambling (hungry rambling), here's a look at—presumably—the next Lip Kit shade.

May 18, 2016, 1:45 P.M.: The Lip Kit gods have spoken! The gods being the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account, of course. It's almost like Kylie Jenner knew we were snooping around for other liquid lipstick options. According to the latest announcement, there's going to be a restock tomorrow of mattes, metals, and glosses—making this possibly the biggest restock yet. We don't have any more information past that, but you might want to pack a lunch tomorrow in anticipation of the credit card charges in your near future.
May 18, 2016, 9 A.M.: Another day, another morning of checking Kylie's app to see nothing. Sigh. But while we wait, did you see that Gigi Hadid wore a $6 drugstore dupe for Exposed? We might have to make a CVS run during lunch. Just saying.
May 13, 2016, 6:45 P.M.: When you're so happy your Lip Kit order goes through you could cry...

May 13, 2016, 3:15 P.M.: We finally got confirmation! According to her app, the restock time is...
"Exposed, my ninth matte lipstick, will launch today, May 13, at 3:30 P.M. Pacific [6:30 P.M. ET]. Also at that time, all three metals (Heir, King and Reign) as well as some of the popular Lip Kits, will be available once again at KylieCosmetics.com!"

May 13, 2016, 10:30 A.M.: Happy restock day! Today is the day Exposed—along with more metals and mattes—is dropping. Kylie Jenner still hasn't released a time, but we've got every notification set.
May 11, 2016: EXPOSED IS LAUNCHING FRIDAY. We repeat: EXPOSED IS LAUNCHING FRIDAY. Kylie Jenner confirmed the news we've all been waiting for in a live stream video on her app today—and we're already planning to skip our morning lattes to justify dropping yet another $29 on it. The new neutral shade is apparently "the best nude" ever (obviously a lofty claim), so we can't wait to see if it stacks up to our other favorites.
She's also restocking more mattes and metals, but the exact shades weren't specified. She also didn't give a time, but we're told full details are coming to thekyliejenner.com any minute.
May 9, 2016: Last week, Kylie Jenner dropped some major news: A new matte Lip Kit color is coming. The soft nude shade called Exposed is lighter than Dolce and according to Jenner, "the best nude" she's ever used. So when we checked thekyliejenner.com this morning (like we do every morning...), we were delighted to see another restock was happening today. Could she be delivering us a new option so soon?
But, alas, Exposed will not be included in today's restock. The drop date for it is still TBD, but in the meantime, you can grab Candy, Dolce, Posie, Koko, Mary Jo, and Kourt, along with all three glosses (Like, Literally, and So Cute) this afternoon at 6 P.M. ET (3 P.M. PT).
May 7, 2016: Ruh-roh. Things are getting a little colorful in Lip Kit Land. Although Kylie Jenner's been hard at work reformulating, it looks like there's some color discrepancy when you compare some of the latest batch's shades with the old. For example, beauty blogger Stephanie Nicole pointed out that the new shade of Candy K is way more of a purple-pink than the old one.
It's not unusual in the cosmetic world for this to happen, given the finicky nature of color. Ever had the same shade of paint look a tiny bit different when you go in later to buy more? The worst. Although the jury's still out on whether this is a manufacturing error or if Jenner is phasing a new shade in on purpose. Knowing how vocal she is about doing everything to please her fans (read down the page to April 18 for more on the Big Brush Kontroversy of 2016), we're betting she'll be speaking up about this, very shortly.
May 5, 2016: If it seems like every single week there's new Kylie Lip Kit news, it's because there is. If the girl's proved anything, it's that she's hard at work making new products and adjusting old ones. And just after we thought we were all caught up on our purchases, Kylie Jenner goes and announces three brand-new shade additions to her matte Lip Kit collection, making 11 altogether. Although we have only shade names and details for one of three so far, we'll be keeping a close eye out for more details (which we imagine will be revealed soon). The one we do know about, though, is called Exposed, and according to Jenner on her Snapchat, is "the best nude I've ever used." See for yourself.

Kylie just announced the exact date and time more matte Lip Kits will be available (unlike her last few restocks, which have been under the radar) and according to her app, it's tomorrow (April 28) at 4:22 P.M. ET (1:22 P.M. PT). And she's coming back with all eight shades—Kourt K, Candy K, Dolce K, KoKo K, Posie K, Mary Jo K, 22, and True Brown K—so if you've been waiting for your chance to snag a color (or five), get your plastic ready.

April 22, 2016: Gloss lovers, we have news! If you ordered on 4/1 (and noticed your brush was frayed like crazy) you should be expecting a package with the new-and-improved wand at your doorstep any day.
April 20, 2016: We have restock news! Well, sort of. Kylie Jenner tweeted last night that the next Lip Kit launch will happen in "about a week." The exact date? TBD. But at least now we can stop refreshing kyliecosmetics.com every hour.
April 18, 2016: Uh-oh. More Lip Kit drama is coming out of the Internet today, and with it comes good news and bad. Let's start with the bad first: If you were one of the lucky ones to get a Kylie Lip Gloss when it first launched on April 1 (who could forget that insane video announcing them?), you've probably noticed your brush is looking a little frazzled right now, making it extremely hard (if not impossible) to use. For example, here's what ours looks like right now:

It turns out, we're not the only ones with this problem. Many customers (including makeup artist Jeffree Star who has a lipstick line himself) have spoken out about it as well. "So I got the new @kyliecosmetics lip glosses...SO disappointed in this product. That wand is unacceptable," he wrote on Twitter. Obviously the news spread like wildfire among his 511,000 followers, and more took to social media to share photos of their busted brushes.
The good news, though, is that a fix is already in place. And Jenner had already been planning a brush revamp prior to the controversy. Every gloss now has a new-and-improved brush with a shorter wand, so there won't be any more fraying. Jenner compares them in a Snapchat video, below. She also took to Twitter to encourage her customers that new glosses are indeed on the way to all who purchased defective ones on 4/1. So if that's you, be looking out for a present in the mail.

April 15, 2016: We finally have a launch date for Metal Matte Lip Kits: today! Jenner announced the news on her app, stating:
"I'm SO excited for this next Kylie Cosmetics launch! On Friday, April 15, I am releasing my new metallic matte lipsticks — Reign K, King K and Heir K—on KylieCosmetics.com."
We still don't have an exact launch time yet, because surprise drops seem to be the new thing now. But we'll be keeping three browser tabs open and all our Insta notifications on.

April 13, 2016: If you haven't already noticed, Kylie Jenner is very good at surprising us. She launched, seemingly out of nowhere, Glosses and Coachella-themed Metal Matte Lipsticks (scroll down for the deets if you haven't been caught up yet), and it looks like she's launching more. Lots more: eyeshadow, eyeliner, and eyebrow kits.
How do we know this? Well, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Kylie Jenner, Inc. has filed for three new trademarks: Kybrow, Kyliner, and Kyshadow. How fitting!
According to the trademarks, filed on March 30, we can expect "makeup kits comprised of eyebrow, eyeliner, and eyeshadow cosmetics and brushes". And last month, Jenner even polled her Twitter fans to see what they'd like to see next. It's nice to see Jenner and many other beauty brands listening to customer feedback regarding products.
Again, there's no final word when these new products will be launching (and we still don't even have a drop date for her Metal Matte Lipsticks, even though Coachella is this weekend...) but we will continue to be on the lookout for more information and update you when we know more.

April 11, 2016, 7 P.M.: We were in a meeting at 4, today and by the time we got back to our desks, every Lip Kit color was sold out. Sigh, the perils of being grown-ass women with jobs who are obsessed with a teenager's beauty product. Luckily we've snagged 6/8 colors and all three glosses already, so we still have some chill. And you know another restock isn't too far away.
April 10, 2016, 7:45 P.M.: According to Kylie Jenner's app, a restock is happening tomorrow (Monday, April 11) at 4 P.M. ET/1 P.M. PT. She'll be offering five Lip Kit colors (Candy, Dolce, Posie, Koko, and Kourt), plus all three of her new glosses. There's still no word about whether that'll include her metallic shades.
April 10, 2016, 7 P.M.: We interrupt your Sunday night to bring you some big news out of the Kylie Lip Kit factory: Coachella-themed Lip Kit colors are coming, and they're all sorts of sparkly. Tonight the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram revealed three new metallic matte lipstick shades: Reign (a copper, which is likely named after her nephew), King (a gold), and Heir (a rose gold). Considering Coachella kicks off this Friday, we're certain these colors will be dropping soon enough for you to match your Flash Tatts to your lips for opening weekend. Check them out:
April 6, 2016: In typical Lip Kit fashion, all eight shades sold out yesterday shortly after launch. The good news: More are coming next week. And glosses too. Jenner tweeted:

April 1, 2016 4:38 P.M.: And that's a wrap. All Glosses have sold out. According to users, the checkout process was much more smooth, and in our own experience, we were able to walk away with all three colors with no problem whatsoever. And good news for all the original Lip Kit lovers, more "Mattes" (apparently what Jenner is calling them now) will be available after this weekend. Date and time, TBD. We'll update when we know more, as usual.

April 1, 2016 2:39 P.M.: Slowly but surely we're learning more about what to expect from today's mysterious lip gloss launch. Here's what we know so far:
1. Rumors on the Internet are circulating that the launch time is going to be 3 P.M. ET/12 P.M. PT. But that's just the buzz among Lip Kit fan accounts. Kylie Jenner herself still hasn't confirmed or denied a time.
2. We now know what the new formulas smell like...vanilla. So basically they're the 2016 version of Bonne Bell Cappuccino Lip Lites. Prepare for every middle-schooler and nostalgic 20-something to lose her bananas over this (present company included).
3. Today's update won't include a Lip Kit restock. Only glosses.
April 1, 2016 2:20 P.M.: Kylie has spoken. The launch time? "Soon." But really, is this an April Fools joke? Here's her latest update.
April 1, 2016 12 P.M.: Dear Kylie, It's already noon on 4/1 and still there's no word about when the new lip glosses are going to be popping dropping. Please give us a time! Sincerely, overeager beauty editors.
March 31, 2016: Kylie Jenner just made a major announcement on her Instagram account: Lip glosses are coming. And they're coming sooner than you think. Soon as in tomorrow. Everything we know about the new category added to her lip kit collection so far, including information and questions about her new video (!) for the launch, can be found here. In the meantime, here's a shot of the three new colors: Like, Literally, and So Cute. They are being sold for $15 each.
March 29, 2016: This just in: Not only did the surge of Kylie Jenner Lip Kit fans break KylieCosmetics.com last night, the sheer volume of people looking to get their hands on the restock of her eight colors straight-up broke Google. Yes, Kylie Jenner literally broke the Internet.
According to a Snapchat Jenner posted, there were so many people on her website that Google Analytics couldn't even keep track of the number. Her surprise face is almost as good as Taylor Swift's. Almost. Watch and behold.
March 28, 2016, 11 P.M.: If you tried to get a Lip Kit tonight and were unable to get through, you're not the only one. Apparently because over 200,000 people were trying to check out at once, the site crashed. "I'm so sorry if this caused any inconvenience for anybody trying to get my kit! There was so many people the whole back end of the website crashed. It's not my fault but if it were up to me I'd want it to be as easy as possible for everyone. You guys have been so amazing to me and I promise I will be back almost every week!!! For everyone who got through thank you and congrats. March 24, 2016: Well, that didn't take long. This morning on her app, Kylie Jenner announced the official release for her eighth Lip Kit color, Kourt K, a matte plum. It'll be going up for sale tomorrow (Friday, March 25) at 6 P.M. ET/3 P.M. PT on kyliecosmetics.com. Based on the spike in searches we've already seen for this shade, we're betting it's going to go even faster than usual. Set your iCals, ladies, this one might be a battle. But just in case you don't come away with a Lip Kit, here are a few other deep lip colors we love.
March 23, 2016: If you need proof that lipstick (and a hair change) can completely alter your look/mood, then ladies and gentlemen, look no further than Kylie Jenner's latest Snapchat. Eight days after revealing her new Lip Kit shade, Kourt K, Jenner has finally given the world a peek at what the color looks like on her. (Up until this point, she's only shown teasers of it on friends and photos of it swatched out on her arm.) And maybe it's because we haven't seen her blond wig in forever or maybe it's because we're so used to her signature neutral brown lips, but man, she looks nearly unrecognizable in this shot.
It only makes us want Kourt K that much more. You?
While we all wait for a release date for the new color, let's revisit all the times the Kardashian crew has worn Lip Kit shades, shall we?
March 21, 2016: It's that time again: another Kylie Lip Kit restock! On Monday at 7 P.M. ET, all seven of the colors will be available at KylieCosmetics.com.
A swatch of Kourt K has also been revealed, but won't be released with today's restock (launch date coming soon): Kourt K #comingsoon (not the next restock though.. Watch out for that date on Kylie's app today)
And lastly, a mysterious black-and-white snap of three Lip Kits were posted on Jenner's Snapchat, which means more new colors are definitely in the works. Could it be that Kim's, Kendall's, and Kris' shades are imminent? We can only speculate...
March 17, 2016: She has named a color after Khloe ("Koko K"—Khloe's nickname) and another after her grandmother ("Mary Jo"—which she also had tattooed in Mary Jo red on the side of her hip). Now Kylie Jenner's latest Lip Kit shade is named after another member of the fam. Care to wager a guess? It is...Kourtney!
Making the deep purple color we hypothesized was the next launch Instagram official, Jenner shared a look at the new addition earlier this evening. She's calling it "Kourt K." Say, do you think that goth-y '90s shoot Kourtney revealed last weekend was a tease for this? The lip shades do look awfully similar. Either way, this might be the color we're most excited about. And that's saying a lot.
Keep your credit cards at the ready. According to Jenner, this kit is "#COMINGSOON" and we can say with fairly safe certainty that it will not be hanging around for long. But while you're waiting—and mentally planning the rest of your beauty look around this color—here are a few other celeb-approved vampy lipstick shades that are easy to pull off. March 15, 2016: Did we call it or what? During our last update we were just talking about how we wished Kylie Jenner would add a deep purple shade to her lip kit collection (so far the colors have stuck to subtle variations of brown, pink, and red), and then lo and behold, the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram posted this teaser below. The caption: "Is that a new color I spy?! #kyliecosmetics"
Well, is it Kylie Cosmetics?!? Isn't the brand supposed to be the one telling us? Le sigh. All this teasing. True to the rest of the line, this plum looks like it's another velvety matte finish.
According to the brand's Instagram, another restock is supposed to happen this week, so per usual, we'll report back once it's officially announced on Jenner's app.
March 12, 2016: The day has arrived! Late yesterday on thekyliejenner.com / Kylie Jenner's app, Jenner announced that the next batch of lip kits will be restocked on Saturday afternoon at 6 P.M. ET (3 P.M. PT). "I'm not revealing which ones will be back just yet. All you need to know is that at that time, go to KylieCosmetics.com!" the announcement read. Hmmm...are you guys thinking what we're thinking? Do you think she might be dropping a surprise color? Crazier things have happened. We'll be watching closely to see what goes up for sale. Who's really hoping for a dark vampy purple?
Update March 10, 2016: Kylie Jenner has just confirmed via Twitter that there will me more Lip Kits in stock this weekend. No details on what time, day, or what shades will be available, but we will update as soon as we get more info.
Update March 9, 2016: Our order (shade #22!) has shipped after only two days processing. Delivery date is estimated for Saturday, March 12. Not too shabby!
Update March 7, 2016: Late last night, Kylie Cosmetics announced a Lip Kit re-stock, only a week after its last.
"I said the next Lip Kit restock was coming soon, right? I'm so excited to announce that tomorrow, Monday, March 7, all 7 shades—Candy, Dolce, True Brown, KoKo, Posie, Mary Jo and 22—will be back in stock at 12 p.m. Pacific at KylieCosmetics.com!!!" says Jenner on her website.
And in classic Lip Kit fashion, all the colors sold out in minutes. "We sold out in 15 minutes today! And we only keep making more every time! Thank you for all the love and support, I will keep bringing beautiful and amazing quality products to you guys! Hehe I have something fun in store for you guys coming very soon. & if you missed out this time.. All updates and restock info will always be posted on my app. The link for my app is in my bio. I love you guys! We did it!" says Kylie on Instagram.
It must be noted that we experienced no site issues when trying to purchase a Lip Kit for ourselves. At 3:11 p.m. ET we checked out and completed a purchase for #22 with no problem.
Update March 1, 2016: Were you one of the lucky ones able to snag Kylie Jenner's newest Lip Kit shade, "22"? In completely expected fashion, it went on sale yesterday and sold out immediately. Other lip kit shades that were restocked also sold out. According to an Instagram update from @KylieCosmetics, "There will be an update soon on the next restock. Definitely in the next 1-2 weeks!"

Update: February 28, 2016: Fans who subscribe to Kylie Jenner's app just woke up to some great news: Tomorrow is the day! In a post titled "New Lip Kit Color Announcement," Jenner revealed that her new red-orange shade—which finally has a name, "22"—will be up for grabs on KylieCosmetics.com starting at 6 P.M. ET/3 P.M. PT Monday afternoon. She'll also be restocking a few other popular colors, but it's anyone's guess as to which those could be at this time. If we had to put a wager on it, we'd bet on Mary Jo K (considering even other celebs like Olivia Munn and Christina Aguilera are into the cherry red shade) and Dolce K (the OG light brown) which has been one of her most popular so far. It's pretty much flattering on everyone.
Here's hoping this batch lasts longer than half an hour...
PS: Just in case you don't want to be glued to your computer on Monday, might we suggest this more subtle way to wear brown? The same goes for red-orange too.
February 25, 2016: It's official: The next color to join the Kylie Lip Kit krew is...a yet-to-be-named red-orange shade (and it definitely looks like the same color below). Earlier this evening, Jordyn Woods, a Wilhelmina model and one of Jenner's close friends, took over Jenner's Snapchat to give fans a first look. There's still no word on when the color will be dropping other than "very soon"—a time frame we are continually being told, which means fans likely won't have any idea until the night before—but Jenner did drop one other exciting bomb on Twitter tonight. In response to a fan asking whether more dark shades are on the way, Jenner said this: "Have an amazing dark one I've been holding." Is it so much to ask to have that one now, too, please? Surely that big factory of hers can pump out two more kits at once. The anticipation is killing us! As always, we'll report back when we know more.
February 23, 2016: We're back! And we're bringing more Kylie Jenner Lip Kit news at you. It never takes too long does it? The latest buzz on the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram: New lip kit colors are dropping in less than a week. As we know from earlier this month, "less than a week" could literally mean tomorrow, so plan to keep your eyes peeled and your credit cards at the ready if you still haven't had the chance to get in on her liquid lipsticks yet. She hasn't officially revealed the new shade yet, but based on some heavy teasing, it looks like it'll be this red-orange color. Read up on our advice for wearing bright shades like this, here.
February 5, 2016: Well, this is unsurprising. Kylie Jenner dropped her new lip kit colors today, as well as more packages of her original shades, and everything sold out in under 30 minutes (an improvement, considering the first shipment was gone in less than a minute). It also appears that Jenner has plans to expand her cosmetics empire, as she changed the named of her lip kit Instagram to "Kylie Cosmetics." We're dizzy just trying to keep up.
February 4, 2016: Over the past few weeks Kylie Jenner has been teasing the release of her new lip kit colors hard. First: the black-and-white shot. Then the contest to name her fuchsia hue. Next a casual Snapchat video of a bright red color. Well, today on her Instagram, she finally revealed the remaining shade to join the rest of her Lip Kit.
It is, drumroll please...Koko, a rosy pink. See it below (pictured second from the left in the top photo and second from the right in the bottom), along with Mary Jo (that bright red), Posie (the fuchsia pink), and her original trio: True Brown, Candy, and Dolce
There's still no word yet on when exactly the new kits will launch—or, the bigger issue, how many of them will be available—but as with any hard-hitting ongoing news investigation, we'll be sure to report back when new details emerge. Considering she keeps pegging it to Valentine's Day, we're guessing you can safely set an iCal reminder for February 14.
