"What I find atypical in Hollywood is that they didn't like Trump because he was a bully," Allen told Fox information host Megyn Kelly Monday evening on The Kelly File. "but if you had any sort of inkling that you were for Trump, you bought bullied for doing that. And it gets a bit bit hypocritical to me."

Allen, the rare openly conservative Hollywood actor, got here on to promote his ABC sitcom, closing Man Standing.
The 63-12 months-historic tv icon mentioned he didn't think Gigi Hadid's influence of Melania Trump on the American tune Awards become "acceptable for that venue."
"I'm not a spokesman for Hollywood, I'm a comic. So I get to tour around the country and do comedy and i do a reveal that has some extent of view," he referred to.
Allen referred to his persona on final Man Standing, Mike Baxter, is a conservative. And youngsters the reveal is "written via liberals," it's still smart and humorous to americans of each philosophical stripe.
Allen says his "higher view," politically talking, is that he doesn't "like americans telling me what to do."
"if you consider this government works good, the dimension it's, I'm one of those guys, 'just make it smaller,'" he pointed out. "certainly, for a Democrat," Allen says "you'll want to be satisfied" about Trump's election given early reviews about his desirous to pursue infrastructure spending whereas now not cutting entitlements.
Allen says he offers Trump the "benefit of the doubt" as a result of "he can also definitely be a man who wants to be funnier that he's."
"You get bullied right into a position, but I don't want to protect the man," Allen explained. "To me, he acts like a new ability comedian. These are guys that have fantastic material that have very bad comedy timing. And he's acquired horrific timing."
