Celebrities React to the Dakota access Pipeline Victory

Yesterday marked a historical victory for the Standing Rock Sioux when the U.S. army Corps of Engineers announced it might halt building of the Dakota entry Pipeline under the controversial location of Lake Oahe in North Dakota, and it'll discover alternate routes instead.

The determination came after months of protests at Standing Rock, which received support from people beyond the native neighborhood: politicians, veterans and celebrities. Some, corresponding to actress Shailene Woodley (who became in brief arrested for trespassing) and rapper Vic Mensa, had been on location taking part in demonstrations.
