Zimmer, sixteen, and Kilborn, 17, both of Winnetka, are enrolled in New Trier's integrated international experiences college, and have been each independently gaining knowledge of a topic for their end of semester projects when they found they each had been investigating the fashion trade, Zimmer said.

Zimmer and Kilborn labored with fellow student Stevie Bianco on designing and growing the clothes.
