The latest episode of "Bringing Up Bates" showcased the countdown to Michaela Bates and Brandon Keilen's wedding week and it featured a very special guest star, Jana Duggar from "19 Kids and Counting."
"I don't know if people would say I'm ready, but I'm wanting to get married," revealed Brandon during the emotional episode.
The couple met more than six years ago and their feelings for each other grew steadily until, on December 30th, 2013, when Brandon asked Michaela to begin a courtship.
Michaela, who was assisted by her bridesmaids, including Jana Duggar during the preparations for the big day, remarked of the events leading up to the wedding week, "It hasn't been too stressful, with all of the people that have been helping out."
Perhaps the most classic moment of all occurred when Michaela Bates' father Gil accompanied the young couple to the county clerk's office to get their marriage license.
"Do you have other children?" the clerk asked Gil. "Oh yes ma'am," Gil replied. "We're going to be down to a manageable size I think. We're only going to have 15 kids at home."
The older boys took Brandon on the outing of his choice, which was the Knoxville Ice Chalet. "We have done very little ice skating," admitted Lawson. "We love rollerblading and [we are] decent at that, but when it comes to ice, it's a totalyl different ballgame."
Meanwhile, Michaella's sisters and bridesmaids which included Jana Duggar came together at Erin's house for lots of girl talk prior to the wedding.
The sisters were shocked that Michaela, who vowed to remain pure until marriage, was not nervous for her wedding night.
The family planned for around 800 guests to share the couple's special day.
Michaela continued to be nervous about leaving her extended family to start a new life with Brandon after her wedding, which took place in August 2015.
