Abby Lee Miller always has brand new ideas on how her competition dance team can gain more exposure in the entertainment industry, and this one is no different.
In a sneak peek of the new episode of "Dance Moms," the music/entertainment editor, Sergio, and the fashion editor, James, from Seventeen Magazine stop by the ALDC studios in Los Angeles, because they are doing a fashion story with Maddie Ziegler in an upcoming issue. They then inform the dancers that they have an opportunity for only a few of them to join Maddie in the shoot.
"I have to be honest. It's a shoot for three girls," Sergio explained to the girls. "I want to see which one of you would compliment her the best."
Upon hearing that only two girls will join Maddie, the moms know how amazing of an opportunity it would be for their daughters to be chosen.
"This is a chance of a lifetime," Holly Frazier explained. "[It's] almost every teenage girl's dream to be in Seventeen Magazine, and this is a pretty awesome opportunity."
To choose which two girls will join Maddie in the shoot, the Seventeen Magazine editors have Abby's team perform matching choreography.
Just as James and Sergio are about to make their decision, Abby joins the deliberation process to give her opinion on who should be chosen. This angers the other mothers, because they were not expecting Abby to be a part of the decision making process.
"Of course, what lures Abby out of her dark cave is Sergio and James," Holly said. "There is no way Abby's going to pass any opportunity to offer her two cents about who should be selected for the fashion shoot."

The new episode of "Dance Moms," titled "Now You See Abby, Now You Don't," airs Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
